ՀՀ գլխավոր դավաճանի ասուլիսին զուգահեռ, Երևանում ամերիկյան դեսպանատունը հայտարարեց ԱՄՆ պաշտպանության նախարարության երկու բարձրաստիճան ներկայացուցիչների ժամանման մասին։ Ըստ հայտարարության` ՀՀ բարձրաստիճան դավաճանների հետ հանդիպման նպատակով, Հայաստան են ժամանել ԱՄՆ ՊՆ գեներալ-մայոր Կիտ Ֆիլիպսը և Պատրիկ Պրայորը:
 
ԱՄՆ ռազմական ոլորտի պրոֆեսիոնալ ծառայողներն ի՞նչ համագործակցության մասին են պատրաստվում խոսել Հայրենիքը հանձնելու պատրաստ բարձրաստիճան դավաճանների հետ: Նկատի ունենալով Նիկոլի հայտարարությունը, որն ուղղված է Արցախը հանձնելուն, հետևաբար նաև Ռուսաստանին Անդրկովկասից դուրս մղելուն, ապա բավական հետաքրքիր է, թե ի՞նչ հետևանքների կհանգեցնի այս այցը։
 
Կա մտավախություն, որ ՀՀ դավաճանության (կառավարության) ղեկավարը, խաղաղության դրոշակը ձեռքին` Հայաստանը կարող է վերածել երկրորդ Ուկրաինայի: Գլոբալ շահերի տեսանկյունից հոգ չէ, որ հայ ժողովուրդը, Հայաստանն ու Արցախը ոչ միայն ավերակների կվերածվեն` ինչպես Ուկրաինան,այլ կարող են ամբողջովին զոհաբերվել: Սակայն գլոբալ խաղատախտակի համար, այս պահին, կարևորը ոչ թե հայ ժողովրդի ապագան է, այլ Ռուսաստանին Հարավային Կովկասից դուրս մղելն ու Իրանին օղակի մեջ վերցնելն է:
