ԱՄՆ-ի նախագահ Ջո Բայդենը հայտարարել է, որ Ուկրաինային ռազմական օգնության նոր փաթեթի չափը կկազմի 375 մլն դոլար: Այդ մասին, ինչպես տեղեկացնում է «Արմենպրես»-ը՝ վկայակոչելով ՏԱՍՍ-ը, ասված է Սպիտակ տան կայքում մայիսի 21-ին հրապարակված մամուլի հաղորդագրությունում:
Փաստաթղթում հաղորդվում է Կիևին «մինչև 375 մլն դոլար հատկացնելու» մասին, որն այդ թվում կուղղվի ուկրաինացի զինվորականների ուսուցմանը:
Ավելի վաղ Reuters գործակալությունը տեղեկացրել էր, որ Բայդենը հայտարարել Է Ուկրաինային ռազմական օգնության նոր փաթեթ հատկացնելու մասին, դրանում կներառվեն «զինամթերք, հրետանի և զրահատեխնիկա»:
ԱՄՆ-ն Ուկրաինային 35,7 միլիարդ դոլարի ռազմական օգնություն է տրամադրել 2022 թվականի փետրվարի 24-ից և 36,9 միլիարդ դոլար՝ այն ժամանակվանից, երբ ԱՄՆ նախագահի պաշտոնում է գտնվում Ջո Բայդենը, ավելի վաղ հայտնել էր Պենտագոնի մամուլի ծառայությունը։
Politico պարբերականը նշել էր, որ 2022 թվականի դեկտեմբերին Կոնգրեսի կողմից հաստատված՝ Ուկրաինային 48 միլիարդ դոլարի օգնության փաթեթից մնացել է մոտ 6 միլիարդ դոլար։ Սա նշանակում է, որ Վաշինգտոնի կողմից Կիևի կարիքների ֆինանսավորումը կարող է սպառվել մինչև ամառվա կեսը։
