ԲՀԿ առաջնորդ Գագիկ Ծառուկյանը ֆեյսբուքյան իր էջում գրում է.

Սիրելի՛ հայրենակիցներ, քույրե՛ր, եղբայրնե՛ր
Այսօրվա իմ խոսքը կոչ չէ։ Այսօրվա իմ խոսքը սովորական ուղերձ չէ։ Իմ խոսքը Հայաստանում ծնված, ապրած, կայացած մարդու պարզ, ուղիղ խոսքն է՝ ուղղված իր հայրենակիցներին։ Գիտեմ, որ կա տարածված տեսակետ, թե ի՞նչ սրտով ենք նշում մայիսի 9-ը, արդյո՞ք կա իմաստ ընդհանրապես նշելու։ Ուզում եմ ուղիղ ասել, խնդրել. վանեք ձեզնից այդ մտքերը, վանեք կասկածը՝ մեր ուժերի և մեր ապագայի հանդեպ։
Մենք ունեցել ենք փայլուն հաջողություններ, փայլուն հաղթանակներ, և դա մեր պատմությունն է։ Մեր, մեր ծնողների, մեր պապերի, մեր ընկերների ու հայրենակիցների կերտածը։
 
Մենք միշտ հիշելու ենք մեր պատմությունը, հիշելու և մեծարելու ենք մեր հայրենակիցներին, և մենք պետք է տեր լինենք մեր բոլոր հաղթանակներին։
Ինչպես ցանկացած պետություն և ցանկացած ժողովուրդ, ունեցել ենք ձախողումներ և տապալումներ։ Եվ մենք պետք է ուժ ունենանք՝ տեր կանգնելու նաև դրան։
Միայն այդպես են ժողովուրդները վերագտնում իրենց, ուղղում՝ մեջքը։
Այդպես են, գրագետ ու համառ աշխատելով, ապահովում խաղաղություն, պետության և սեփական ընտանիքների համար ստեղծում ավելի ապահով ու բարեկեցիկ կյանք։
Ես վստահ եմ, որ մենք դա անելու ենք։
 
Ես վստահ եմ մեր ժողովրդի գենետիկ ներուժի, մեր պատմական հիշողության, մեր հոգևոր ժառանգության վրա։
 
Մենք ունենք նոր սերունդ, փայլուն երիտասարդություն։ Մենք ունենք նաև փայլուն մարզակա´ն սերունդ, որը շարունակում է կերտել մարզական հաղթանակներ և ապացուցել, որ հայը կարող է լինել աշխարհի ուժեղագույնների շարքում՝ մեր դրոշի պատիվը բարձր պահելով։
 
Ինչպե՞ս այսօր նշել մեր հաղթանակները։ Առաջին հերթին՝ վճռականությամբ, որ մենք մեր մեջքը ուղղելու ենք, հետևություններ անելով, թե ի´նչն եք արել սխալ ու ինչը՝ թերի։
Եվ իհարկե, ամենաառաջին քայլը ներքին համերաշխության գնալն է։ Մեր ազգային վերելքը սկսվելու է ներքին համերաշխության հաստատման պահից։
Ուզում եմ առանձնահատուկ շնորհավորել Արցախի մեր հայրենակիցներին՝ հիշեցնելով մեր բոլոր հաղթանակներում նրանց անգնահատելի դերը։ Սարդարապատից մինչև այսօր Արցախի մեր հայրենակիցներն ունեցել են կարևոր մասնակցություն։ Ֆաշիզմի դեմ պայքարում փոքր Արցախը տվել է 45 հազար մասնակից, բազմաթիվ գեներալներ, մարշալներ, հերոսներ։
 
Եվ այսօր շրջափակման մեջ գտնվող Արցախն ունի բոլոր բարոյական իրավունքները՝ միջազգային հանրությունից աջակցություն և պաշտպանություն պահանջելու։
Շնորհավորում եմ մեր վետերաններին, կամավորներին, ազատամարտիկներին։ Շնորհավորում եմ մեր աչքի լույս, մեր հայկական բանակի բոլոր զիծառայողներին։ Խոնարհվում եմ մեր բոլոր զոհերի հիշատակի առաջ։ Խոնարհվում եմ հերոսներ տված մայրերի առաջ։
 
Մենք ունենք մեկ հայրենիք, մենք տեր պետք է կանգնենք մեր երկրին։ Կեցցեն մեր բոլոր կերտած և գալիք հաղթանակները։
