ՀՀ  ՊՆ  նախկին  փոխնախարար ,ՀՀԿ  ԳՄ  անդամ  Արտակ  Զաքարյանը  գրում է

 
Այն նշելու որոշումը կայացվել է ԵԿՄ 3-րդ համագումարում՝ 1997թ-ին։ 2002թ-ից Երկրապահի տոնն ընդգրկվել է ՀՀ պետական տոնացույցում։
 
Այսօր լրանում է ԵԿՄ հիմնադրման 30-րդ տարին: ԵԿՄ-ն ստեղծվել է 1993 թվականին: Միության հիմնական նպատակներն են՝ աջակցել հայրենիքի բարգավաճման և հայ ժողովրդի անվտանգության ապահովման գործին, օժանդակել ՀՀ զինված ուժերի հզորացմանը, դեռահասների ու երիտասարդների ռազմահայրենասիրական դաստիարակությանը, նպաստել հաշմանդամ, զոհված և անհայտ կորած ազատամարտիկների ընտանիքների սոցիալական պայմանների բարելավմանը:
 
Դժվար է հավատալ, որ այսօրվա ԵԿՄ-ն կարող է այսպես հանգիստ մարսել իր հազարավոր անդամների արյունով կերտված հաղթանակի վաճառքը: Անհավատալի է:
 
Դժվար է հավատալ, որ ԵԿՄ-ն երբևէ կդառնա նիկոլանման խամաճիկների ձեռքի խաղալիք, ովքեր ոչնչացրել են ԵԿՄ հպարտության բոլոր պատճառները և լեգենդար ԵԿՄ-ին տոնը շնորհավորելու պատճառ անգամ չեն թողել:
Դժվար է հավատալ, որ Վազգենի առաջնորդությամբ Երասխից մինչև Հորադիզ հասած ԵԿՄ-ն իր 30-ամյակը «տոնելու» է հայրենավաճառ կապիտուլյանտի առաջնորդությամբ:
 
Շնորհավորում եմ անցյալի ու ապագա Երկրապահի տոնը, որն ունեցել է Երկիրը պահող հաղթանակներ և կրկին ունենալու է Երկիրը պահող նոր հաղթանակներ:
 
Այսօր շնորհավորելու բան չի թողել դավաճանը:
