Մահացած է հայտնաբերվել աթլետիկայի օլիմպիական չեմպիոնուհի ամերիկացի Թորի Բոուին, ով երեխայիէր սպասում, հայտնում է Daily Mail-ը։
Բոուիին մահացած են գտել երեքշաբթի օրը Ֆլորիդայում (ԱՄՆ) իր տանը։ Նա 32 տարեկան էր։ Աղբյուրի փոխանցմամբ՝ նա յոթ-ութ ամսական հղի է եղել։ Ըստ նրա ընկերների և հարևանների՝ մարզուհին ունեցել է անկանոն և անհանգիստ պահվածքի երկար պատմություն: Դեպքերից մեկում Բոուին դանակը ձեռքին բղավում էր ընկերոջ վրա։ Մի անգամ էլ ձվեր է նետել դիմացի տան վրա։
Դատական փաստաթղթերի համաձայն՝ մարզիկի 500.000 դոլար արժողությամբ տունը վերջին երկու տարիների ընթացքում գտնվում էր բռնագրավման եզրին: Նրա պարտքը տան սեփականատերերի ասոցիացիային կազմում էր 220,000 դոլար: Քննիչները բացառում են, որ Բոուիի մահը բռնի գործողությունների հետևանք է եղել, սակայն ստույգ պատճառը դեռևս չի նշվում։
Բոուին Ռիո դե Ժանեյրոյում օլիմպիական չեմպիոն է դարձել 4×100 մետր փոխանցումավազքում։ Նույն խաղերում նա նվաճել է արծաթե և բրոնզե մեդալներ։ Բացի դրանից, մարզուհին եղել է կրկնակի չեմպիոն, ինչպես նաև աշխարհի առաջնությունների բրոնզե մեդալակիր։
