Նախընտրական քարոզարշավի եռուն շրջանում գտնվող Թուրքիայում նախագահ Թայիփ Էրդողանի ինքնազգացողությունն անսպասելիորեն վատացել է, եւ նա ստիպված է եղել ընդհատել տեղական լրատվամիջոցների կողմից կազմակերպված հարցազրույցը, իսկ հետո արդեն անդրադառնալով իր առողջական վիճակին` միջադեպի առնչությամբ ներողություն է խնդրել։ Ավելի ուշ հայտնի դարձավ, որ Թուրքիայի գործող նախագահը չեղարկում է նախընտրական հանրահավաքները՝ բժիշկների խորհրդով։ Ու թեեւ պաշտոնական շրջանակները փորձում են համոզել, որ տեղի ունեցածը կապված է սոսկ նախագահի խիտ գրաֆիկի հետ, սակայն հասկանալի է, որ Էրդողանի առողջական վիճակն այնքան էլ լավ չէ։ Արեւմտյան մամուլում բավական վաղուց են սկսել շրջանառվել տեղեկություններ, որ Էրդողանն ունի առողջական խնդիրներ, ընդ որում՝ լուրջ խնդիրներ։ Դա նաեւ թուրքական հասարակության ներսում էլ ժամանակ առ ժամանակ քննարկվում է։ Բայց առավել բուռն քննարկվում է հայկական միջավայրում, մանավանդ երեկվա միջադեպից հետո էյֆորիկ տրամադրություններ են տիրում համացանցում, թե «Էրդողանը մահացել է»:

Այս ամենի հետ կապված՝ հարց է առաջանում․ ի՞նչ կլինի, եթե Էրդողանը մինչեւ մայիսի 14-ի ընտրությունները մեռնի։ Սա հարց է, որի պատասխանն իմանալը բավականին կարեւոր է։ Եթե Էրդողանը նախքան ընտրությունները մեռնի, ապա, զուտ պրոցեդուրային առումով, ընտրությունները կարող են ինչ-որ ժամանակով հետաձգվել, մինչեւ հուղարկավորությունը կատարվի եւ այլն։ Դրանից հետո, բնականաբար, նրա «Արդարություն եւ զարգացում» կուսակցությունը կփորձի Էրդողանին փոխարինող գտնել` ընտրություններին մասնակցելու համար։ Դա կարող է լինել, օրինակ, գործող պաշտպանության նախարար Հուլուսի Աքարը։ Ի դեպ, արեւմտյան մամուլում նրա անունը մի քանի անգամ շրջանառվել է որպես Էրդողանի ապագա հնարավոր իրավահաջորդ։

Ընտրությունները տեղի կունենան, բայց խիստ կասկածելի է, որ այդ իրավիճակում «Արդարություն եւ զարգացում» կուսակցությունը հաղթի։ Հաղթանակը, ամենայն հավանականությամբ, կանցնի ընդդիմությանը։ Իշխանության կգան թերեւս քեմալականները՝ Քեմալ Քըլըչդարօղլուի գլխավորությամբ, որոնք ավելի արեւմտամետ կեցվածք ունեն։ Սա կարող է ենթադրել մի քանի բան․ Արեւմուտքի ազդեցությունը Թուրքիայի վրա նորից կուժեղանա, Ադրբեջանի մասով Անկարայի վարած էրդողանյան քաղաքականությունը որոշակի սրբագրումների կենթարկվի։ Բաքուն հնարավոր է, որ այլեւս այն նույն ծավալով չապավինի Անկարային, որն առկա է այսօր։ Դա կարող է լինել նաեւ Արեւմուտքի ճնշմամբ։ Հայաստան-Թուրքիա հարաբերություններում էլ կարող են նույն Արեւմուտքի ճնշման ներքո որոշակի դրական տեղաշարժեր լինել։ Բուն Թուրքիայում երկիրը նորից կանցնի արեւմտամետ-սեկուլյար ուղեծիր, եւ կրոնաազգայնական տրամադրությունները նորից կմղվեն լուսանցք։

Հետաքրքիր կլինի ռուս-թուրքական հարաբերությունների բնույթն այդ ժամանակ։ Դրանք որոշակիորեն կարող են սրբագրվել, սակայն շրջադարձային լուրջ փոփոխություններ այս առումով չեն լինի։ Թուրքիան, ամենայն հավանականությամբ, կվերանայի իր արտաքին քաղաքականությունը, կփակի էրդողանյան արտաքին քաղաքականության էջը եւ կկենտրոնանա իր ներքին խնդիրների լուծման եւ տնտեսության առողջացման վրա։
Սակայն, ամեն դեպքում, հայերիս կյանքում սա քիչ բան կփոխի, ուստի Էրդողանի ո՛չ մահով, ո՛չ վերընտրվելով պետք չէ ուրախանալ:
