ՀՀ ԱԺ նախագահ Ալեն Սիմոնյանի ուղերձը Հայոց ցեղասպանության զոհերի հիշատակի օրվա կապակցությամբ․

«1915 թվականին, երբ հայ ժողովրդի պատմության անիվը խափանվեց, երբ հայաթափման ոճիրն իր գագաթնակետին հասավ ու հավերժական լռություն ճանապարհվեց արեւմտահայ մտավորականության ձայնը, երկրագնդի անտարբերությունը ճեղքեցին հայտնի մարդասերները: Նրանք աղաղակում էին հայասպան քաղաքականության դեմ բոլոր հնարավոր միջոցներով, նրանք արձանագրում էին անարդարությունը՝ ուշադրություն հրավիրելով մեկուկես միլիոն հայերի կոտորածին:
 
Ջարդերի օրերին է, երբ Գերմանիայի կանցլերը նամակ է ստանում իր երկրի դեսպանից, որը բառացի ասում է՝ բնաջնջելով հայ ազգին եւ լուծելով «Հայկական հարցը»՝ թուրքական կառավարությունը մերժում է ընդունել Գերմանիայի ներկայացուցիչներին, ամերիկացիներին, Պապի պատվիրակությանը, մերժում է լսել աշխարհի մեկ երրորդը ներկայացնող արեւմտյան հասարակության կարծիքը:
 
Դրանից շատ տարիներ անց առաջավոր աշխարհը պաշտոնապես ճանաչում է Հայոց ցեղասպանությունը եւ դատապարտում, իսկ Ցեղասպանության զոհերը Պապի կողմից սրբադասվում են:
 
Այսօր էլ մեր երկրին պատուհասած վտանգի ու հայաթափման քաղաքականության ականատեսն ենք, երբ դաժանաբար փորձում են ջնջել հայկական հետքը, վերացնել մեր մշակույթը: Քաղաքակրթության վերջին փուլեր թեւակոխող դարում ցեղասպանության հավանականությունը, ցավոք, վերացած չէ: Աշխարհը միակամորեն պետք է մերժի ու բացառի ցեղասպանությունների կրկնությունը՝ հանուն զարգացման ու առաջընթացի, հանուն նոր աշխարհի նոր քաղաքացու:
Խաղաղություն մեր անմեղ զոհերի հոգիներին, ապրենք ու ապրեցնենք մեր երկիրը»:
