Ուկրաինան ու Վրաստանը ՆԱՏՕ չեն մտել Մերկելի պատճառով. Ուկրաինայի ՊՆ ղեկավար

ԱՄՆ-Ն և եվրոպական երկրները պատրաստ էին աշխատել Ուկրաինայի և Վրաստանի՝ ՆԱՏՕ մտնելու վրա դեռևս 2008 թվականին, սակայն Գերմանիայի նախկին կանցլեր Անգելա Մերկելը դաշնակիցներին համոզեց դա չանել, ասել է Ուկրաինայի պաշտպանության նախարար Ալեքսեյ Ռեզնիկովը La Razon-ին տված հարցազրույցում։
«Դա Գերմանիայի կանցլեր Անգելա Մերկելն էր, որը հակառակվեց և համոզեց մյուսներին», - ասել է Ռեզնիկովը:
Խոսքը Բուխարեստում ՆԱՏՕ-ի գագաթնաժողովի մասին է, որտեղ, ըստ Ռեզնիկովի, դիտարկվել է դաշինքին Ուկրաինայի և Վրաստանի անդամակցության իրական հնարավորությունը։ Միաժամանակ, նախարարի խոսքով, դեռ այն ժամանակ Արևմուտքում կիրառվում էր «Ռուսաստանին չհրահրելու» դոկտրինան։
Ուկրաինան ՆԱՏՕ-ին անդամակցելու հայտ է ներկայացրել 2022 թվականի սեպտեմբերին։ Դաշինքին Կիևի շուտափույթ անդամակցությանը կողմ են բալթյան երկրներն ու Լեհաստանը։ Գերմանիան դեմ է արտահայտվել, իսկ ԱՄՆ-ն ասել է, որ այդ հարցը պետք է քննարկվի «այլ ժամանակ»։
Ռուսաստանն Ուկրաինայում ռազմական գործողություն է իրականացնում 2022 թվականի փետրվարից։ Նախքան դրա սկսվելը ՌԴ նախագահ Վլադիմիր Պուտինը դաշինքին Կիևի միանալու հարցը «կանխորոշված» էր որակել: 2021 թվականի դեկտեմբերին Մոսկվան Արևմուտքից երաշխիքներ էր պահանջել, որ Ուկրաինան և նախկին ԽՍՀՄ մյուս երկրները չեն մտնի ռազմական դաշինք։ ԱՄՆ-ն հրաժարվել էր դրանից։
Արդեն Ռուսաստանի ռազմական գործողության մեկնարկից հետո նախկին կանցլերի ներկայացուցիչը հայտնել է, որ Մերկելը 2008 թվականին ճիշտ որոշում է համարել չաջակցել Ուկրաինայի արագացված մուտքին ՆԱՏՕ։
