Լոնդոնի «Չելսիի» պաշտպան Կալիդու Կուլիբալին պատմել է, թե ինչպես է ակումբն օգնում իրեն Ռամադանի ժամանակ, ինչպես նաև պատասխանել է երկրպագուների ենթադրություններին «սուրբ ամսվա» բացասական ազդեցության մասին ֆուտբոլիստների խաղի վրա։ Երեքշաբթի՝ ապրիլի 4-ին, «Լիվերպուլի» խաղի ժամանակ, Կուլիբալին խաղում էր «Չելսիում» Ուեսլի Ֆոֆանայի և Ն’Գոլո Կանտեի հետ միասին, որոնք նույնպես մահմեդականներ են։ Մինչև իֆտարը (երեկոյան սննդի ընդունում ռամադան ամսին), որը խաղից 20 րոպե առաջ էր, նրանք ոչինչ չէին կերել և չէին խմել,-հայտնում է armsport-ը:
«Երբ իֆտարը եկավ, մենք տաքացանք: Մտանք հանդերձարան՝ խմելու, և ամեն ինչ պատրաստ էր մեզ համար («Չելսիի» սննդի մասնագետների կողմից՝ հեղ․): Երբ ես նստեցի հանդերձարանում, այնտեղ չորս շիշ կար և խորտիկներ, օրինակ՝ բանաններ: Խաղից հետո նրանք մեզ համար ընթրիք պատրաստեցին։
Ռամադանից երեք-չորս շաբաթ առաջ «Չելսին» սկսեց ծրագրել իմ սննդակարգը՝ ինչ և երբ կարող եմ ուտել: Նրանք մեզ համար հատուկ ըմպելիքներ պատրաստեցին, որպեսզի տեսնենք, թե արդյոք դրանք մեզ դուր են գալիս։ Հրաշալի էր։ «Լիվերպուլի» հետ խաղի ժամանակ մրցավարը մոտեցավ և հարցրեց. «Ուզու՞մ եք կանգ առնել վերալիցքավորվելու համար»: Դա էլ ավելի լավ էր։
