ԱՄՆ նախկին նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփին սպառնում է 136 տարվա ազատազրկում Trump Organization-ի առաջին կարգի ֆինանսական գրառումները կեղծելու 34 հոդվածներով։ Այս մասին երեքշաբթի՝ ապրիլի 4-ին, հայտնել է Fox News-ը։
Փաստաթղթերի կեղծումը Նյու Յորքում համարվում է զանցանք, բայց երբ հանցագործը դա կատարել է «այլ հանցագործություն կատարելու կամ այն թաքցնելու համար», նա կարող է առավելագույնը չորս տարվա ազատազրկման դատապարտվել:
Նյու Յորքի շրջանային դատախազ Էլվին Բրեգի խոսքերով՝ դա կարող է նաև հանցավոր դավադրություն լինել ապօրինի միջոցներով ընտրություններում թեկնածուին առաջ մղելու հիմքով: Բացի այդ, նախատեսվում է մի շարք կեղծ հայտարարություններ անել հարկային մարմիններին։ Հնարավոր է նաև, որ եղել են դաշնային ընտրական օրենքի այլ խախտումներ։
«Ընդհանուր առմամբ՝ 34 կեղծ գրառում է կատարվել Նյու Յորքի բիզնեսի գրանցամատյանում՝ 130 000 դոլարի նախնական գաղտնի վճարումը թաքցնելու համար», - ավելացրել է Բրեգը:
