Արմեն Աշոտյանը ֆեյսբուքյան իր էջում գրում է.
«Քանի որ թե Էդգար Ղազարյանի ուժեղ խոսքի, թե քպ-ական ոհմակի լորձոտ ճիվաղների մասին շատ են արդեն կարծիքները, ցանկանում եմ անդրադառնալ իշխանական թեկնածուի պահվածքին այսօրվա նիստի ընթացքում:
1. Իրեն հարգող մարդը, անկախ մասնագիտական որակներից, չպիտի այսքանից հետո շարունակեր սեփական անձը ՄԻՊ դարձնելու նիկոլական օպերացիային տիկնիկ լինել:
2. Իրեն որպես իրավաբան դիտարկող անձը պարտավոր էր պարզապես մինչև սեփական ելույթը դատապարտեր այդ դահլիճում Էդգար Ղազարյանի հանդեպ նիկոլական ճիճուների գարշահոտ խլվրտոցը:
3. Իրեն ՄԻՊ-ի պաշտոնում տեսնող անձը կորցրեց առաջին իսկ հնարավորությունը պաշտպանել Էդգար Ղազարյանի ոտնահարվող իրավունքները:
4. Իրավաբան չեմ, բայց հստակ հասկանում եմ, թե որտեղ են մեզ որպես հասարակությանը ֆռացնում ուղիղ եթերում: Օրինակ, երբ սույն տիկինը խոսում էր Հայաստանում մարդու իրավունքներին վերաբերող միջազգային զեկույցներից, այդ ամբողջ աղաղակող փաստերից ընդգծեց և «մեկնեց» «մամուլի բևեռվածությանը» վերաբերող երկրորդական հատվածը:
5. Կրկնեմ, որ գլխավոր դատախազի տեղակալ աշխատող անձը ուղիղ պատասխանատու է և մեղավոր Հայաստանում տեղի ունեցող իրավաբանական բեսպրեդելի, մարդկանց նկատմամբ անբարոյականության շեմը վաղուց հատած ճնշումների ու անարդարությունների և այլ հանցանքների համար:
