Ադրբեջանի կողմից Արցախի լիակատար շրջափակման պատճառով կտրվել է Շուշիի շրջանի Մեծ Շեն համայնքի ճանապարհային կապը մայրաքաղաք Ստեփանակերտի հետ, որը հումանիտար խնդիրներ է առաջացրել գյուղում:
«Արցախպրես»-ի թղթակցի հետ զրույցում Մեծ Շեն համայնքի ղեկավար Դավիթ Դավիդյանը տեղեկացրել է, որ գյուղի բնակիչներից նրանք, ովքեր աշխատում են Ստեփանակերտում ներկայում անգործ են մնացել։
«Գյուղից ունենք նաև ուսանողուհի, ով այս պահին Ստեփանակերտում է և զրկված է ծնողներին այցելելու հնարավորությունից, միայն հեռախոսով են կարողանում կապ պահպանել միմյանց հետ։ Ներկայում Ստեփանակերտի հետ գործում է միայն բջջային հեռախոսակապի միջոցը»,-նշում է համայնքի ղեկավարը:
Նրա խոսքով՝ մեծշենցիներն այս օրերին զբաղվում են գյուղատնտեսական աշխատանքներով՝ չնայած ադրբեջանական դիրքերը բավականին մոտ են ինչպես գյուղին, այնպես էլ գյուղատնտեսական հողատարածքներին:
«Ինքս զբաղվում եմ մեղվաբուծությամբ։ Մեղվափեթակներս գտնվում են թշնամու դիրքից 500 մետր հեռավորության վրա»,-նշում է համայնքապետը և հավելում, որ ճիշտ է, հակառակորդի կողմից խաղաղ բնակչությանը թիրախավորելու դեպքեր չեն գրանցվել, բայց բնակիչների մոտ մտահոգություն, այնուամենայնիվ, առկա է։
Գյուղում գարնանացանը սկսել են 10֊12 օր առաջ։ Ըստ համայնքի ղեկավարի՝ արդեն հասցրել են կարտոֆիլ, սոխ, սխտոր ու կանաչեղեն ցանել։
«Կարտոֆիլի սերմեր գյուղացիները ունեցել են, բայց, ըստ հայտերի, ժամանակին նաև պետական աջակցություն է ցուցաբերվել՝ յուրաքանչյուրի մոտ 100֊150 կիլոգրամի չափով»,-ներկայացրել է Դ. Դավիդյանը:
Անդրադառնալով գյուղի խնդիրներին, նա հայտնել է, որ արդեն երկար տարիներ ոռոգման ջրի խնդիր ունեն, որի պատճառով այգիներ մի մասը չի օգտագործվում։
Մեծ Շենի համայնքապետը հայտնել է, որ Արցախի Հանրապետության կառավարության որոշմամբ գյուղում նախատեսվում է ցայտաղբյուրներ տեղադրել և ծրագրի իրականացումը, նրա համոզմամբ, որոշ չափով կլուծեր խնդիրը:
