Կլիմայի փոփոխության և ջրային ռեսուրսների սահմանափակման պայմաններում տեղի է ունենում այլ գետերի վտակներից դեպի Կուրի ստորին հոսանք եկող ջրի ծավալի կրիտիկական կրճատում, հետևաբար ավելացել են Մինգեչաուրի ջրամբարից ջրի բացթողման ծավալները: Այս մասին, ըստ ադրբեջանական լրատվականների հաղորդման, հայտնել են ջրային ռեսուրսների կառավարման կենտորնից:
Ըստ հրապարակված տվյալկների, մարտի 17-ից Մինգեչաուրի ջրամբարից վայրկյանում 160 խմ ջուր բաց է թողնվել Կուր:
