«Գեներալ Գրիգորի Խաչատուրովին կալանքի տանելն այս իշխանության համար ունի մի քանի նպատակ, սակայն կարծում եմ` առաջինը, Խաչատուրովների զինվորական, գեներալական ընտանիքի հեղինակությանը վնաս հասցնելն է:
Բանակում գործում են գրված և չգրված օրենքները ու որքան էլ Խաչատուրովների ընտանիքի զինվորականներն այս պահին պաշտոնաթող են, սակայն նրանք իրենց մեջ կրում են բանակի հետ կապված ինստիտուցիոնալ հիշողությունը, ավանդույթները, զինվորականին հատուկ պատիվն ու արժանապատվությունը:
Չափազանցրած չեմ լինի, եթե նշեմ, որ Խաչատուրովներին հասցվող հարվածներն ուղիղ թիրախավորում են զինված ուժերին, այնտեղ ծառայող սպաներին, որովհետև Խաչատուրովները երկրին ծառայություն մատուցելու իրենց առաքելությունը դեռ չեն սպառել, երկրորդ, ցանկացած զինվորական` բանակում, թե բանակից դուրս, մտքում գիտի, որ այն ինչ տեղի է ունենում Գրիգորիի հետ, հաջորդ օրը կարող է տեղի ունենալ հենց իր հետ:
Երկրի ունակ դեմքերին մեկուսացնելով էլ իշխանությունը «պատրաստվում» է իր իսկ անոնսած սահմանային նոր լարվածությանը»:
