Ռուսական զորքերը «բաց ճանապարհ» կունենան՝ գրավելու արևելյան Ուկրաինայի առանցքային քաղաքները, եթե նրանք վերահսկողության տակ վերցնեն Բախմուտը, CNN-ին տված հարցազրույցում նախազգուշացրել է նախագահ Վլադիմիր Զելենսկին՝ բացատրելով ուկրաինական ուժերին պաշարված քաղաքում պահելու իր որոշումը։

«Սա մեզ համար տակտիկական է որոշում է: Մենք հասկանում ենք, որ Բախմուտից հետո ռուսական զորքերը կարող են ավելի հեռուն գնալ։ Նրանք կարող են գնալ Կրամատորսկ, Սլովյանսկ, Բախմուտից հետո ռուսների համար բաց ճանապարհ կլինի դեպի Ուկրաինայի այլ քաղաքներ՝ Դոնեցկի ուղղությամբ: Դրա համար մեր տղաները կանգնած են այնտեղ»,- ասել է նա CNN-ի լրագրող Վոլֆ Բլիցերին Կիևից տված բացառիկ հարցազրույցում։ 

«Մենք հասկանում ենք, թե ինչի է ուզում հասնել Ռուսաստանը։ Ռուսաստանին առնվազն որոշակի հաղթանակ է պետք, մի փոքր հաղթանակ»,- հավելել է Զելենսկին։

Նրա խոսքով՝ եթե Ռուսաստանը կարողանա «դնել իր դրոշը Բախմուտի գագաթին, դա կօգնի մոբիլիզացնել ռուսական հասարակությունն այն գաղափարի շուրջ նրանք այնքան հզոր բանակ ունեն»:

CNN-ը նշում է, որ թեև Բախմուտն ինքնին կարևոր ռազմավարական արժեք չունի, սական դրա ճանապարհային կապերը երկու խիտ բնակեցված, արդյունաբերական կենտրոնների՝ Կրամատորսկի և Սլովյանսկի հետ նշանակում են, որ այդ քաղաքները հաջորդը կլինեն Ռուսաստանի համար, եթե նրանք կարողանան վերահսկողություն հաստատել Բախմուտի նկատմամբ:

Գրեթե 4000 խաղաղ բնակիչ, այդ թվում՝ 38 երեխա, շարունակում է մնալ Բախմուտում, երեքշաբթի ասել է երկրի փոխվարչապետ Իրինա Վերեշչուկը:

Միևնույն ժամանակ, ՆԱՏՕ-ի հետախուզությունը գնահատում է, որ Բախմուտի պաշտպանության ժամանակ սպանված յուրաքանչյուր ուկրաինացի զինվորի դիմաց ռուսական ուժերը կորցրել են առնվազն հինգ մարդ:

Նախօրեին հաղորդվել էր, որ ռուսական ուժերն ամբողջությամբ վերահսկողության տակ են վերցրել Բախմուտի արևելյան հատվածը։ Այս մասին չորեքշաբթի հայտնել էր «Վագներ» մասնավոր ռազմական կազմակերպության հիմնադիր Եվգենի Պրիգոժինը։

««Վագներ»-ի ստորաբաժանումները գրավել են Բախմուտի ամբողջ արևելյան հատվածը: Բախմուտկա գետից արևելք ամեն ինչ ամբողջությամբ գտնվում է «Վագներ»-ի վերահսկողության տակ»,- ասել էր Պրիգոժինը, որի խոսքերը թելեգրամյան ալիքում հրապարակել է նրա մամուլի ծառայությունը։

Բախմուտը գտնվում է ինքնահռչակ Դոնեցկի Ժողովրդական Հանրապետության այն մասում, որը վերահսկվում է Կիևի կողմից և կարևոր տրանսպորտային հանգույց է Դոնբասում ուկրաինական զորքերի խմբավորման մատակարարման համար։

Ավելի վաղ ՌԴ ՊՆ ղեկավար Սերգեյ Շոյգուն ասել էր, որ Բախմուտի համար մարտերը շարունակվում են։ Նա նշել է, որ քաղաքի գրավումը թույլ կտա հարձակում իրականացնել ուկրաինական զորքերի պաշտպանության խորքում։

«Այս քաղաքը կարևոր պաշտպանական հանգույց է Դոնբասում ուկրաինական զորքերի համար: Այն վերահսկողության տակ վերցնելը թույլ կտա հետագա հարձակողական գործողություններ իրականացնել Ուկրաինայի զինված ուժերի պաշտպանության խորքում»,- ասել էր ՌԴ պաշտպանության նախարարը:
