ԱրարատԲանկը՝ ՄԱԿ-ի կայուն զարգացման նպատակներին հավատարիմ

Սույն թվականի մարտի 3-ին ԱրարատԲանկի Զարգացում մասնաճյուղի հանդիսությունների սրահում տեղի ունեցավ ԱրարատԲանկի՝ ՄԱԿ-ի «Գլոբալ պայմանագիր» (UN Global Compact) միջազգային նախաձեռնությանը միանալու մեկամյակին նվիրված միջոցառումը։
Բացման խոսքով հանդես եկան ԱրարատԲանկի խորհրդի նախագահ Գրիգոր Հովհաննիսյանը և Հայաստանում ՄԱԿ-ի մշտական համակարգողի պաշտոնակատար Նիլս Սքոթը։ Միջոցառմանը ներկա էին ՄԱԿ-ի և պետական հատվածի, միջազգային ֆինանսական հաստատությունների երևանյան և արտասահմանյան գրասենյակների, ՄԱԿ-ի Կանանց հզորացման սկզբունքների ծրագրի (Women Empowerment Programme) անդամ հանդիսացող տեղական և միջազգային ընկերությունների ներկայացուցիչները։
2022թ․-ին միանալով ՄԱԿ-ի «Գլոբալ պայմանագիր» միջազգային նախաձեռնությանը՝ ԱրարատԲանկը պատրաստակամություն է հայտնել ներառել ՄԱԿ-ի կայուն զարգացման սկզբունքները իր գործունեության մեջ և գործել այդ սկզբունքների համաձայն։
«Գլոբալ պայմանագրի» տասը սկզբունքները բխում են Մարդու իրավունքների համընդհանուր հռչակագրից, Աշխատանքի միջազգային կազմակերպության՝ աշխատանքի հիմնարար սկզբունքների և իրավունքների մասին հռչակագրից, Շրջակա միջավայրի և զարգացման մասին Ռիոյի հռչակագրից և ՄԱԿ-ի Կոռուպցիայի դեմ կոնվենցիայից:
«Մենք հանձնառու ենք ՄԱԿ-ի «Գլոբալ պայմանագիրը» և դրա սկզբունքները դարձնել մեր ընկերության ռազմավարության, մշակույթի և առօրյա գործունեության մաս և ներգրավվել համագործակցային նախագծերում, որոնք առաջ են մղում ՄԱԿ-ի զարգացման ավելի լայն նպատակներ, մասնավորապես՝ Կայուն զարգացման նպատակները»,- նշել է ԱրարատԲանկի խորհրդի նախագահ Գրիգոր Հովհաննիսյանը։
«ՄԱԿ-ի «Գլոբալ պայմանագիրը»՝ աշխարհում խոշորագույն կորպորատիվ կայունության նախաձեռնությունը, ապահովում է կորպորատիվ պատասխանատվության համընդհանուր շրջանակ և սահմանում է սկզբունքներ բիզնեսների պատասխանատու կառավարումն ուղղորդելու համար։ Միանալով ՄԱԿ-ի ընտանիքին ՄԱԿ-ի «Գլոբալ պայմանագրի» միջոցով, որը միավորում է 160 երկրում ավելի քան 12,000 ձեռնարկություններ և 3,000 շահույթ չհետապնդող կողմերի, ԱՐԱՐԱՏԲԱՆԿ-ը կարևոր հանձնառություն ունի Հայաստանում ամրապնդելու համագործակցային, փոխաջակցող միջավայրը՝ հանուն ավելի կայուն և ներառական ապագայի», - նշել է Հայաստանում ՄԱԿ-ի մշտական համակարգողի պաշտոնակատար Նիլս Սքոթը։
Նախաձեռնության մասնակից են նաև աշխարհի մի շարք առաջատար բանկեր՝ Raiffeisen Bank International AG, Bank of America, British Business Bank, National Bank of Greece S.A., TBC Bank, Korea Development Bank, China Development Bank, Deutsche Bank AG։
