«Փաստ» օրաթերթը գրում է

1837- ծնվել է դերասան, ռեժիսոր, դրամատուրգ Գևորգ Չմշկյանը։
1871- ծնվել է դերասանուհի Օլգա Մայսուրյանը։
1888- ծնվել է դրամատուրգ, բժիշկ Ստեփան Բաղդասարյանը։
1929- ծնվել է դերասան Էդգար Էլբակյանը։
1932- ծնվել է նկարիչ, գոբելենագործ Կարապետ Եղիազարյանը։
1981- բացվել է Երևանի մետրոպոլիտենի «Բարեկամություն» կայարանը։
2004-Եղանակի կտրուկ տաքացման հետևանքով վարարած Հրազդան գետի ջրերը ողողել են մի քանի պոմպակայաններ: Արդյունքում մայրաքաղաքի որոշ համայնքներում խմելու ջուրը աղտոտվել է:
2013-երկու տարի գործած Երևանի «Նեմո» դելֆինարիումը ապամոնտաժվել է, իսկ դելֆինները տարվել են Հայաստանից:
2014-Թուրքիայում բանտից ազատ է արձակվել Հրանտ Դինքի սպանության գործով ձերբակալված առանցքային կասկածյալը՝ ռազմական ոստիկանության նախկին գաղտնի գործակալ Էրհան Թունջելը:
2016-Վրաստան - «Գազպրոմ» բանակցությունները հանգուցալուծվել են, Վրաստանը շարունակել է ստանալ Հայաստան տարանցվող գազի 10 տոկոսը:

161-վախճանվել է Հռոմի Անտոնիոս Պիոս կայսրը, նրան փոխարինել են որդիները՝ Մարկոս Ավրելիոսը և Լուցիոս Վերոսը։
321- Կոստանդիանոս Ա Մեծ կայսրը Բյուզանդական Կայսրությունում կիրակին հայտարարել է հանգստի օր։
1274-վախճանվել է իտալացի քահանա և փիլիսոփա Թովմա Աքվինացին։
1573 -Կոստանդնուպոլսյան պայմանագրով Վենետիկը ճանաչել է Թուրքիայի գերիշխանությունը Կիպրոսի նկատմամբ։
1657- Ֆրանսիայի թագավոր Լյուդովիկոս 14-րդը արգելել է ամերիկյան հնդկացիներին սպիրտային խմիչք վաճառել։
1671 -ծնվել է Շոտլանդիայի ազգային հերոս Ռոբ Բոյը, որը հայտնի է որպես «շոտլանդական Ռոբին Հուդ»։
1765 -ծնվել է ֆրանսիացի գյուտարար Ժոզեֆ Նիսեֆոր Նյեպսը, որը հանդիսանում է լուսանկարչության հիմնադիրներից մեկը։
1799- Նապոլեոն Բոնապարտը գրավել է Պաղեստինի Ջաֆան։
1809-վախճանվել է ֆրանսիացի օդագնաց Ժան-Պիեռ Ֆրանսուա Բլանշարը, որը առաջինն է օդապարիկով հատել Լա-Մանշ նեղուցը։
1855 -ծնվել է ֆրանսիացի գրող, կոլեկցիոներ, պատմագիր, արվեստների հովանավոր Ռոբեր դե Մոնտեսքյուն։
1875- ծնվել է ֆրանսիացի նշանավոր երգահան Մորիս Ռավելը։
1876- Ալեքսանդր Բելլը արտոնագրել է հեռախոսի գյուտը։
1908- ծնվել է իտալացի դերասանուհի Աննա Մանյանին։
1912-Ռաուլ Ամուդսենը, հասնելով ավստրալիական Հոբարտ, հայտնել է, որ նվաճել է Հարավային բևեռը։
1920 -սիրիական Ազգային կոնգրեսը հայտարարել է Սիրիայի անկախությունը։
1924- ծնվել է ճապոնացի ականավոր արձակագիր և դրամատուրգ Կոբո Աբեն։
1926 -ռադիոհեռախոսային կապ է հաստատվել Լոնդոնի և Նյու Յորքի միջև։
1933 -ԱՄՆ-ի Ատլանտիկ Սիթիում Չարլզ Դարրոուի կողմից ստեղծվել է «Մոնոպոլիա» խաղը։
1941 -ծնվել է կինոյի և թատրոնի դերասան Անդրեյ Միրոնովը։
1960 -ԽՍՀՄ-ում 20 ռազմական օդաչուներից կազմավորվել է տիեզերագնացների առաջին խումբը։
1967- ԽՍՀՄ-ն անցել է հնգօրյա աշխատանքային շաբաթվա ռեժիմի։
1989 -կապված Սալման Ռուշդիի նոր գրքի շուրջ ծագած սկանդալի հետ՝ Իրանը խզել է դիվանագիտական հարաբերությունները Մեծ Բրիտանիայի հետ։
1990- վախճանվել է բրազիլական և միջազգային բանվորական շարժման գործիչ Լուիս Կարլոս Պրեստեսը։
1997 -«Nature» ամսագիրը հայտնել է, որ շոտլանդական Էդինբուրգի Ռոսլինյան ինստիտուտի գիտնականները ստացել են գառ առանց ոչխարի սեռական բջիջների օգնության։ Ծնվել է կլոնավորված Դոլլի ոչխարը։
