ՆԱՏՕ-ի և Ռուսաստանի հարաբերություններում ետդարձի ճանապարհ չկա, ասել է ՆԱՏՕ-ի գլխավոր քարտուղար Ենս Ստոլտենբերգը: Նրա խոսքով՝ նույնիսկ ուկրաինական հակամարտության ավարտը չի հանգեցնի հարաբերությունների կարգավորման, գրում է gazeta.ru-ն:
«Մենք պետք է գիտակցենք, որ այս պատերազմի ավարտը չի հանգեցնի Ռուսաստանի հետ նորմալ հարաբերությունների»,- ընդգծել է նա։
Ստոլտենբերգը հայտարարել է, որ Ռուսաստանի հետ հակամարտությունում Ուկրաինային աջակցելը «բխում է դաշինքի սեփական անվտանգության շահերից»։ Այս մասին նա հայտարարել է Ֆինլանդիայում SAMAK գագաթնաժողովում (Սկանդինավյան աշխատավորական շարժման համագործակցության կոմիտե, սոցիալ-դեմոկրատական կուսակցությունների և սկանդինավյան երկրներում աշխատողների խորհուրդների դաշինք) իր ելույթի ժամանակ։
Գլխավոր քարտուղարը հորդորել է ՆԱՏՕ-ի երկրներին մեծացնել պաշտպանական ծախսերը՝ ընդգծելով, որ Կիևին աջակցությունը բխում է դաշինքի անդամ երկրների «անվտանգության շահերից»։ Բայց ամենամեծ ռիսկը, նրա կարծիքով, կլինի ոչ թե հակամարտության սրումը, այլ Ուկրաինայի նկատմամբ Ռուսաստանի հաղթանակը։
«Ես մտահոգություններ եմ լսում առ այն, որ Ուկրաինային մեր աջակցությունը մեծացնում է էսկալացիայի վտանգը։ Բայց… հիմա առանց ռիսկի տարբերակներ չկան: Թող ոչ ոք չկասկածի. ամենամեծ ռիսկը նախագահ Պուտինի հաղթանակն է Ուկրաինայում»,- հավելել է Ստոլտենբերգը։
