«Ապրելու երկիր» կուսակցության հայտարարությունը Սումգայիթի ջարդերի տարելիցի կապակցությամբ

1988 թվականի այս օրերին Խորհրդային Ադրբեջանի Սումգայիթ քաղաքում տեղի ունեցան քաղաքի հայ ազգաբնակչության զանգվածային ջարդեր և բռնի տեղահանություն։
Փետրվարի 27-29-ը Սումգայիթում կազմակերպված դաժան սպանություններով, խոշտանգումներով, կողոպուտով և բռնարարությամբ ուղեկցվող կոտորածն իրականացվում էր պետական մակարդակով՝ ադրբեջանական իշխանությունների ուղիղ թույլտվությամբ։
Իշխանությունների այս գործելաոճն արցախահայության ժողովրդավարական կամաարտահայտման, Արցախը Հայաստանին միացնելու և անկախ ապրելու ցանկության զարհուրելի արձագանքն էր։ Այս հանցագործության նպատակն ազատագրական շարժման ոգին կոտրելն ու հայ ազգի իսպառ բնաջնջումն էր։
Դաժանորեն սպանվեցին հարյուրավոր հայեր, եղան հազարավոր վիրավորներ, ավերվեցին ու թալանվեցին հայերի գույքն ու ունեցվածքը, տասնյակ հազարավոր փախստականներ սփռվեցին տարբեր երկրներում։ Սա նախօրոք ծրագրված սպանդ էր, որի հեղինակները, կազմակերպիչներն ու մասնակիցներն առ այսօր չեն բացահայտվել ու արդարացիորեն չեն պատժվել։ Դեպքերը ոչ միայն չեն բացահայատվել, այլև նենգորեն կոծկվել են ադրբեջանական իշխանությունների կողմից, բոլոր հնարավոր միջոցներով գործերը կարճվել են՝ սումգայիթյան ջարդերի դաժան էջը փակելով ու առաջ անցնելով։
Անպատիժ մնացած այս գործողությունները և ճշմարտությունը լռության մատնելու հետևանքն Ադրբեջանի այսօրվա դիրքորոշման ու Արցախը հայաթափելու մոլի ցանկության շարունակությունն են։ 120.000 խաղաղ բնակչությանը, այդ թվում երեխաներին, շրջափակման մեջ պահելը, խաղաղ բնակչությանն ահաբեկելն ու կենսական միջոցներից կամայականորեն զրկելը ոչ այլ ինչ է, քան հանցագործություն։
Խստորեն դատապարտելի է հայերի հանդեպ իրականացված և այսօր շարունակվող էթնիկ զտման քաղաքականությունը… 35 տարի առաջ տեղի ունեցածն այսօր՝ քաղաքակիրթ աշխարհում թույլ տալը, պարզապես, աններելի ու անթույլատրելի է։
