Հոնկոնգի կառավարությունը հայտարարել է, որ մտադիր է 500 000 անվճար ավիատոմս տրամադրել՝ որպես քաղաքի զբոսաշրջային արդյունաբերությունը վերականգնելու և այցելուներին քաղաք վերադարձնելու միջոցառումների մի մաս: Այս մասին հաղորդում է «Արմենպրես»-ը՝ վկայակոչելով CNN-ին:

«Բարև Հոնգ Կոնգ» նախաձեռնության մասին հանրությանը հայտնել են փետրվարի 2-ին, սակայն այն մշակվում է ավելի քան երկու տարի:

Տոմսերը կբաշխվեն քաղաքի երեք ավիաընկերությունների՝ Cathay Pacific-ի, HK Express-ի և Hongkong Airlines-ի միջև: 500 000 տոմսերն, ընդհանուր առմամբ, քաղաքի համար կարժենան մոտ 254,8 միլիոն դոլար:

Այն մարդիկ, ովքեր ցանկանում են ուղևորվել Հոնկոնգ, կարող են այցելել World of Winners (Հաղթողների աշխարհ) էջը մարտի 1-ից և չվերթի տոմսերի վիճակախաղում մուտքագրեն իրենց անունները:

Տոմսերը կտրամադրվեն երեք փուլով՝ մարտի 1-ից Հարավարևելյան Ասիայի բնակիչներին, ապրիլի 1-ից մայրցամաքային Չինաստանի և մայիսի 1-ից աշխարհի մնացած հատվածի բնակիչներին։

Կորոնավիրուսի համավարակի ընթացքում Հոնկոնգը բավական մեծ զգուշավորություն է դրսևորել: Համավարակի ժամանակ դեպի Հոնկոնգ և Հոնկոնգից դուրս մեկնելը բավական բարդ և թանկարժեք գործընթաց էր. ճանապարհորդների համար գործում էին կարանտինային խիստ սահմանափակումներ՝ ընդհուպ մինչև 21 օր մեկուսացմամբ, բազմաթիվ ՊՇՌ թեսթեր հանձնելու պահանջ: Կարանտինի ժամանակը հարկավոր էր անցկացնել հյուրանոցում, որի համար վճարում էր ուղևորը:

Նախքան COVID-19-ի համավարակը տարեկան Հոնկոնգ էր այցելում 56 միլիոն մարդ: Մինչև 2022 թ.-ն այդ թիվը նվազել էր՝ հասնելով 100 հազարի:
