Զելենսկին խոստացել է, որ գերմանական Leopard տանկերը չեն անցնի Ռուսաստանի տարածքով

Ուկրաինայի նախագահ Վլադիմիր Զելենսկին խոստացել է, որ գերմանական Leopard տանկերը չեն անցնի Ռուսաստանի տարածքով։ Այդ մասին նա հայտարարել է Tagesschau-ին տված հարցազրույցում։
«Այդ Leopard-ները, եթե ինչ-որ մեկն անհանգստանում է, չեն անցնի Ռուսաստանի Դաշնության տարածքով»,- ասել է Զելենսկին։
Նաև Ուկրաինայի նախագահը պահանջել է այդ զենքերը մատակարարել Կիևին՝ Արևմուտքին կոչ անելով պատճառներ չփնտրել, եթե որևէ հարցում քաղաքական կամք չկա.«Պետք է ասել «ո՛չ» և պետք չէ ասել, որ ինչ-որ բան պատրաստ չէ կամ ինչ-որ մեկը պատրաստ չէ»:
Ավելի վաղ հաղորդվել էր, որ ԱՄՆ-ն ու Գերմանիան չեն կարողացել լուծել Ուկրաինային տանկեր մատակարարելու հարցը։ ԱՄՆ պաշտպանության նախարար Լլոյդ Օսթինը չի կարողացել ճնշում գործադրել Գերմանիայի պաշտպանության նախարար Բորիս Պիստորիուսի վրա, որպեսզի թույլատրի Լեհաստանից և այլ երկրներից գերմանական Leopard տանկեր մատակարարել Ուկրաինային։
Եվրոպական և այլ բանակներին մատակարարվող Leopard տանկերը, ինչպես նաև գերմանական այլ զինատեսակներ արգելվում է մատակարարել երրորդ երկրներ առանց Գերմանիայի պաշտպանության նախարարության թույլտվության։ Այդուհանդերձ, Լեհաստանում Ուկրաինային գերմանական տանկերն արդեն խոստացել են ռուսական բանակի դեմ կռվելու համար։
Պիստորիուսն ավելի վաղ ասել էր, որ Գերմանիան նման թույլտվություն կտա միայն այն դեպքում, եթե ԱՄՆ-ն թույլ տա M1 Abrams տանկերը մատակարարել Ուկրաինային։ Սակայն Պենտագոնը չափազանց ծախսատար է համարում Ուկրաինային Abrams տանկերով զինելը։
Ավելի վաղ Գերմանիայի պաշտպանության նախարար Բորիս Պիստորիուսը հայտնել էր, որ այլ երկրների կողմից գերմանական տանկերի մատակարարման համակարգման հարցը կորոշվի ուրբաթ՝ հունվարի 20-ին։
