Հասարակական-քաղաքական գործիչ Ավետիք Չալաբյանը ֆեսբուքյան իր էջում գրել է․ 
 
Այսօրվա առաջին կեսը ընկերներիս հետ անցկացրել եմ Երևանի մոտակայքում գտնվող «Ազատազեն» հրաձգարանում՝ կատարելագործելու մեր կրակային հմտությունները: Ինձ անչափ ուրախացրեց և ոգևորեց այն, որ առավոտ կանուխ այնտեղ արդեն հավաքվել էին մի քանի հարյուր հայ տղամարդիկ (և նույնիսկ մի քանի հայ կանայք), լավ հանդերձավորված, ժամանակակից սպորտային և նաև մարտական սպառազինությամբ, և ամենայն լրջությամբ և հետևողականությամբ աշխատում էին սեփական հմտությունների վրա:
 
Ինքս էլ մի շարք թիրախներ խոցելուց հետո, մի քիչ մրսած, մի քիչ հոգնած, բայց մեծ բավականությամբ հանգստանում եմ այս լուսանկարում՝ կատարած աշխատանքից հետո: Համոզված եմ, ու մեզնից յուրաքանչյուրը, ով փոքր ինչ սթափ տրամաբանություն ունի, պետք է շարունակաբար կատարելագործի իր մարտական հմտությունները, ամրացնի իր մարմինը, կոփի իր ոգին, իսկ մենք բոլորս՝ հզորացնենք մեր երկիրը և դարձնենք այն անառիկ ամրոց:
 
Այս ուղղությամբ դեռ անսահման շատ գործ կա անելու, բայց գործը տրվում է այն անողին, և պետք է ամեն օր ինքներս մեզ միշտ հարց տանք՝ այսօր ինչ գործ եմ արել, որ պաշտպանեմ մեր հրաշք երկիրը, մեր փառահեղ ժառանգությունը, մեր անգին ազատությունը, մեր սերուդների արժանապատիվ ապագան:
 
Մինչ այդ, շնորհակալություն եմ հայտնում բոլոր նրանց, ում հետ անցավ այսօրվա օրը՝ դուք ինձ ուժ ու վստահություն եք տալիս, և հավատ՝ մեր վաղվա հաղթանակներին!
