Ռուսաստանն ուրբաթ օրը հայտարարեց, որ իր ուժերը գրավել են Սոլեդարը՝ աղի հանքավայր քաղաքը արևելյան Ուկրաինայում, ինչը Մոսկվայի համար խորհրդանշական է, եթե ոչ ռազմավարական հաղթանակ մարտի դաշտում ամիսներ տևած անհաջողություններից հետո: Սակայն Կիևը հերքել է այդ պնդումը, գրում է CNN-ը։

«Որտե՞ղ է Սոլեդարը։ Փոքրիկ քաղաքն ընկած է Դոնբասի շրջանի կենտրոնում՝ Արևելյան Ուկրաինայի հսկայական տարածքում, որի գրավումը Ռուսաստանն անցյալ ամառվանից վեր է դասում բոլոր մյուս շրջաններից: Իրապես Մոսկվան այն համարում է ռուսական տարածք, քանի որ պնդում է, որ այն միացնում է ամբողջ Դոնեցկի շրջանը, ներառյալ մոտ 40%-ը, որը գտնվում է Ռուսաստանի վերահսկողությունից դուրս:

Այն ընդամենը մի քանի մղոն հյուսիս-արևելք է գտնվում ավելի մեծ Բախմուտ քաղաքից, որը դարձել է Ուկրաինայի 1300 կիլոմետրանոց ճակատային գծի, թերևս, ամենավիճելի և կինետիկ հատվածը և պատերազմի ամենակատաղի մարտադաշտերից մեկը։

Ինչո՞ւ է Սոլեդարը թիրախ դարձել: Նախապատերազմյան մոտ 10 000 բնակչությամբ այս քաղաքն ինքնին քիչ ռազմավարական արժեք ունի, բայց ճանապարհային հանգույց է դեպի արևմուտք: Մոսկվան ամիսներ շարունակ պայքարել է Բախմուտի վրա արևելքից հարձակվելու համար, բայց եթե Մոսկվան գրավեր Սոլեդարը, այն գոնե կկարողանար քաղաքին մոտենալ այլ ճանապարհով»,-գրում է պարբերականը:

Սոլեդարում կան խոշոր աղի հանքեր, որոնք պատկանում են «Արտեմսիլ» պետական ձեռնարկությանը, որը Եվրոպայում աղի ամենամեծ արտադրողն է։ Այն դադարեցրեց արտադրությունը անցյալ տարվա փետրվարին Ռուսաստանի՝ Ուկրաինա ներխուժումից անմիջապես հետո: Քաղաքին հարակից տարածքներում կան շատ մաքուր աղի մեծ պաշարներ, որոնք արդյունաբերական մասշտաբով շահագործվել են միայն 1881 թվականից ի վեր»։

Սակայն Սոլեդարի հայտնի աղի հանքերի շահագործումը կպահանջի մեծ ներդրումներ և ավելի հանգիստ միջավայր, քան ներկայումս է: 

Սոլեդարի գրավումը հաղթանակ կլինի Ռուսաստանի համար երկար ժամանակ անց։ Ռուսական զինված ուժերը հուլիսի սկզբից տոնելու ոչինչ չունեին և ստիպված էին նահանջել ինչպես հյուսիսում՝ Խարկովում, այնպես էլ Ուկրաինայի հարավում՝ Խերսոնում: Սոլեդարի գրավումը, չնայած նրա այժմ ավերված վիճակին, հազվադեպ առաջընթաց կլիներ: Բայց դա ավելի շուտ խորհրդանշական կլիներ, քան բովանդակային»-եզրափակում է CNN-ի հոդվածագիրը:
