Դեռ վաղ է, որպեսզի ԱՄՆ ԴՊՀ-ն հայտնի գների աճի դեմ պայքարում հաղթանակի մասին, գրում է Financial Times թերթը։ Այս մասին թերթի հետ զրույցում ասել է ԱՄՀ կարգավորչի տնօրենի տեղակալ Գիտա Գոպինատը:
Գոպինատը ԱՄՆ Կենտրոնական բանկին կոչ է արել այս տարի շարունակել բարձրացնել տոկոսադրույքները:
Նրա խոսքով՝ ԴՊՀ-ի համար կարեւոր է պահպանել սահմանափակող դրամավարկային քաղաքականությունը այնքան ժամանակ, քանի դեռ ինֆլյացիայի միանգամայն որոշակի, կայուն նվազումը ակնհայտ չի դառնում աշխատավարձի եւ պարենի կամ էներգակիրների հետ կապ չունեցող ոլորտներում։
«Եթե նայեք աշխատաշուկայի ցուցանիշներին եւ ինֆլյացիայի «կպչուն» բաղադրիչներին, ինչպիսին է ծառայությունների ոլորտում ինֆլյացիան, կարծում եմ, որ պարզ է, որ մենք դեռ չենք փոխել ինֆլյացիայի հետ կապված իրավիճակը»,-ասել է նա։
Ավելի վաղ ԴՊՀ-ի պաշտոնյաները համաձայնել էին, որ Կենտրոնական բանկն այժմ պետք է հավասարակշռի ինֆլյացիոն ճնշման դեմ պայքարը տնտեսության չափազանց դանդաղեցման ռիսկերի հետ:
Հոկտեմբերին ԱՄՀ-ն նվազեցրել է համաշխարհային տնտեսության աճի կանխատեսումը 2023 թվականի համար՝ արտացոլելով Ուկրաինայում պատերազմի շարունակական ազդեցությունը, ինչպես նաեւ ինֆլյացիոն ճնշումները եւ բարձր տոկոսադրույքները, որոնք կենտրոնական բանկերը սահմանել են այդ գնային ճնշումները զսպելու համար:
Հարցազրույցում Գոպինատը հավելել է, որ, իր կարծիքով, Չինաստանի տնտեսությունը մոտ ապագայում զգալիորեն կտուժի: Սակայն այս տարվա վերջին չինական պահանջարկի վերականգնման զուգահեռ հնարավոր է աճ՝ ըստ նրա ներկայացրած զեկույցի։
