Գալիս է Նոր տարին, Կաղանդը, Ամանորը: Գալիս է ու մեզ համար, որ ժողովուրդ ենք, բայց ժողովված չենք: Ուրեմն թող նա գա նախ և առաջ իբրև մեջքապնդող գոտի բոլորիդ համար՝ աշխարհագրական որ գոտիներում էլ լինենք: Եթե համբերությունը թել է, մերը պիտի պարան կոչվի և հյուսված լինի ոչ թե թելերից, այլ ջղերից մեր սեփական, մեր մկաններից ու նյարդերից:
Թող Նոր տարին նորոգի ձեր ջղերը, ամրապնդի ձեր մկանները, երիտասարդացնի ձեր նյարդերը: Աչքերը տեսնելու համար են և ոչ թե միայն ճանապարհ պահելու: Բոլորիս աչքերն էլ ճանապարհ են պահում. մենք՝ ձեր ճանապարհը, դուք՝ մեր ու ձեր հայրենիքի:
Թող բոլորիս աչքերն էլ պայծառանան Նոր տարում, և ճանապարհները կրճատվեն, և սպասելիքները մոտենան: Բարին է առաջնորդել մեզ հազարամյակներ շարունակ: Մեր տվածի գեթ մի մասը պիտի որ մեզ վերադարձնի բախտ կոչվածը, որքան էլ հուլաբար ու ծուլաբար քայլի: Թող գալիք տարին արագացնի այդ քայլքը, ու բարին հասնի բոլորիդ ու բոլորիս:
Թող հայ մանուկներ շատ ծնվեն Նոր տարում և ծնվեն ճակատի այլ գրով. կնունքը՝ որտեղ կուզի, բայց նրանց հարսանյաց հանդեսը կատարվի մեր Մայր Հայրենիքում, ստորոտներում այն լեռների, ափունքներում այն լճերի ու գետերի, որոնց անունն արտասանելիս դողում են մեր շուրթերը և փշաքաղվում է մեր մաշկը…
