46 տարեկան հասակում կյանքից հեռացել է Միջազգային եւ համեմատական իրավունքի կենտրոնի նախագահ Սիրանուշ Սահակյանի եղբայրը՝ Վահե Սահակյանը։

Սիրանուշ Սահակյանը ֆեյսբուքյան իր էջում գրել է, որ եղբոր հոգեհանգիստը տեղի կունենա Սուրբ Հովհաննես Մկրտիչ Եկեղեցում (Կոնդ) դեկտեմբերի 29-ին, ժամը 18:00-ից 20:00-ը: Հրաժեշտի արարողությունը եւ հուղարկավորությունը տեղի կունենան հաջորդ օրը՝ ժամը 12:30-ին՝ նույն վայրից։

«Արժանապատվության, բարության եւ առաքինության խորհրդանիշ մարդ, ով թողել է տեսանելի հետագիծ աշխարհին եւ անջնջելի հետք բոլոր այն մարդկանց սրտերում, ում առերեսվել է կյանքի ոլորաններում:

Վահե Սահակյանը տնտեսական գիտությունների թեկնածու է (Երեւանի պետական Համալսարան, Կենտրոնական Եվրոպայի համալսարան, Պոմպեու Ֆաբրա համալսարան), ինչպես նաեւ Շվեյցարիայի ֆինանսական ինստիտուտի դոկտոր (քանակական ֆինանսներ):

Իր բացառիկ գիտելիքներով, բազմամյա գործունեությամբ եւ հարուստ փորձով Վահե Սահակյանը նշանակալի ներդրում է ունեցել մասնավոր հատվածի զարգացման, մրցակցային քաղաքականության կատարելագործման, բանկային եւ ֆինանսական շուկաների կայացման գործում:

2008 թվականից Վահե Սահակյանը միացել է Միջազգային հաշվարկների բանկի (Bank for International Settlements) արհեստավարժ թիմին՝ աջակցելով տարբեր երկրների (այդ թվում՝ Հայաստանի) կենտրոնական բանկերին՝ ակտիվների ռազմավարական եւ մարտավարական տեղաբաշխման, ակտիվների պարտավորությունների կառավարման հարցերում:

Վահե Սահակյանն ունի նաեւ դասավանդման մեծ փորձ էկոնոմետրիկայի, կորպորատիվ ֆինանսների եւ խաղերի տեսության ոլորտներում: Նա հրապարակել է մի քանի տասնյակ գիտական հոդվածներ միջազգային հայտնի պարբերականներում, որոնք առնչվում են բանկային եւ ֆինանսական շուկաների միկրոտնտեսությանը, կորպորատիվ ֆինանսներին, ակտիվների գնագոյացմանը եւ մաթեմատիկական ֆինանսներին:
