Կրիպտոարժութային FTX-ի բորսային հիմնադիր և նախկին գործադիր տնօրեն 30-ամյա Սեմ Բենկմեն Ֆրիդն ազատ է արձակվել 250 միլիոն դոլար գրավի դիմաց: Նրա ծնողները երաշխիքներ են տվել առ այն, որ նա կմնա տնային կալանքի տակ՝ Կալիֆոռնիայի Պալո Ալտո իրենց առանձնատանը: Այս մասին հայտնում է dw.com-ը:

Ինչպես Մանհեթենի Դաշնային դատարանում նշել է դատախազի օգնական Նիկոլաս Ռուսը, սա ԱՄՆ-ի պատմության մեջ ամենամեծ գրավն է, որը վճարվել է նախաքննության փուլում դաշնային մակարդակով:

Բենկմեն Ֆրիդը կասկածվում է «էպիկական մասշտաբով» խարդախության համար, հավելել է Ռոսը:

Նոյեմբերի սկզբին FTX-ը Twitter-ում հայտարարել է, որ սնանկության հայց է ներկայացրել, և նրա գործադիր տնօրեն Բենկմեն Ֆրիդը հրաժարական է տվել: Գործը դարձել է ԱՄՆ պատմության մեջ ամենախոշորներից մեկը: Առնվազն մեկ միլիոն հաճախորդ կորցրել է իր միջոցների հասանելիությունը:

ԱՄՆ արժեթղթերի և բորսաների հանձնաժողովը մեղադրանք է առաջադրել Բենկմեն Ֆրիդին՝ «ներդրողներին խաբելու սխեմա կազմակերպելու համար»։

Սեպտեմբերին Forbes-ը գործարարի կարողությունը գնահատել էր 17,2 միլիարդ դոլար՝ նրան հռչակելով կրիպտոարժույթի բիզնեսով զբաղվող ամենահարուստ ձեռնարկատերերից մեկը:
