Ռուսաստանը տարիներ շարունակ ամեն ինչ արել է Ուկրաինայի հետ եղբայրական հարաբերություններ կառուցելու համար, սակայն ոչինչ չաշխատեց։ Այս մասին հայտարարել է ՌԴ նախագահ Վլադիմիր Պուտինը, հաղորդում է «ՌԻԱ Նովոստին»։
«Ուզում եմ նշել, որ մենք տասնամյակներ շարունակ ձեռնարկել ենք փորձեր՝ Ուկրաինայի հետ հարաբերություններ կառուցելու համար, ամեն ինչ արել ենք, որ նոր աշխարհաքաղաքական պայմաններում կառուցենք ոչ թե պարզապես բարիդրացիական, այլ եղբայրական հարաբերություններ։ Սակայն ոչինչ չաշխատեց»,-ասել է Պուտինը։
«Մեր ռազմավարական հակառակորդները նպատակ ունեն կազմալուծել եւ թուլացնել, պառակտել մեր երկիրը դարեր շարունակ։ Այստեղ ոչ մի նոր բան չկա։ Շատ մեծ երկիրը, որը, նրանց կարծիքով, սպառնալիք է ներկայացնում ինչ-որ մեկի համար, պետք է փոքր-ինչ ջախջախել։ Միշտ, հիշեք, ուր էլ նայեք, միշտ նման նպատակ է դրվել․․․Մեր աշխարհաքաղաքական մրցակիցները սկսել են զբաղվել հետխորհրդային երկրներում եւ առաջին հերթին՝ Ուկրաինայում, «ուղեղների լվացմամբ»»,-ասել է Պուտինը։
Պուտինը նշել է, որ ընդդիմախոսները լավ պատրաստված էին դրան, քանի որ դեռ խորհրդային տարիներին նրանց մոտ «մի ամբողջ ինստիտուտ աշխատում էր այդ ուղղությամբ»։
Նրա խոսքով՝ այն, ինչ տեղի է ունենում, իհարկե, ողբերգություն է։ «Մեր ընդհանուր ողբերգությունը։ Բայց դա մեր քաղաքականության արդյունքը չէ։ Ընդհակառակը՝ դա այլ երկրների, երրորդ երկրների քաղաքականության արդյունքն է, որոնք միշտ ձգտել են ռուսական աշխարհի կազմալուծմանը։ Ինչ-որ չափով նրանք հաջողության են հասել եւ մեզ մղել դեպի այն գիծը, որում մենք հայտնվել ենք»,-հավելել է Պուտինը։
