Հայաստանը եւս մեկ բրոնզե մեդալ նվաճեց ծանրամարտի աշխարհի առաջնությունում։

Կոլումբիայի մայրաքաղաք Բոգոտայում ավարտված առաջնությունում տղամարդկամց +109 կգ քաշային կարգում Հայաստանի ներկայացուցիչ Վարազդատ Լալայանը երկամարտի 461 կգ արդյունքով դարձավ բրոնզե մեդալակիր։

Հայաստանի hավաքականի կազմում օլիմպիական փոխչեմպիոն Գոռ Միմասյանը, որն այժմ հանդես է գալիս Բահրեյնի հավաքականի կազմում, երկամարտի 462 կգ արդյունքով հռչակվեց աշխարհի փոխչեմպիոն։

Սիմոն Մարտիրոսյանը երկամարտի 425 կգ-ով 8-րդն է։ Չեմպիոնի տիտղոսը նվաճեց վրացի Լաշա Տալախաձեն՝ 466 կգ։

Աշխարհի եւ Եվրոպայի փոխչեմպիոն Վարազդատ Լալայանը պոկում վարժությունը սկսեց 205 կգ-ով եւ փայլուն կատարեց առաջին մոտեցումը։ Առաջին մոտեցմամբ նույնքան պոկեց նաեւ Գոռ Մինասյանը։

Այս վարժության երկրորդ մոտեցմամբ Լալայանը գլխավերեւում ֆիքսեց 210 կգ,  երրորդ մոտեցմամբ էլ պոկեց 215 կգ։

Գոռ Մինասյանը պոկում վարժության երկրորդ մոտեցմամբ բարձրացրեց 212 կգ, երրորդ մոտեցման համար պատվիրված 216 կգ-ը ձախողեց։

Վարազդատ Լալայանն այս վարժությոպնում նվաճեց փոքր արծաթե մեդալ, Գոռ Մինասյանը՝ փոքր բրոնզ։ Լալայանը պոկում վարժությունում հավասար արդյունքը գրանցեց  կրկնակի օլիմպիական, աշխարհի հնգակի եւ Եվրոպայի վեցակի չեմպիոն Լաշա Տալախաձեի հետ։ Քանի որ 215 կգ արդյունքն առաջինը գրանցել էր Տալախաձեն, Լալայանը նվաճեց փոքր արծաթե մեդալ։

+109 կգ  քաշային կարգում Հայաստանի երկրորդ ներկայացուցիչ Սիմոն Մարտիրոսյանը պայքարը սկսեց 190 կգ-ով եւ ձախողեց առաջին մոտեցումը։ Երկրորդ մոտեցմամբ հաջողությամբ ֆիքսեց 190 կգ-ոց ծանրաձողը։

Երրորդ մոտեցման համար Հայաստանի հավաքականի գլխավոր մարզիչ Փաշիկ Ալավերդյանը 10 կգ-ոց քայլ կատարեց եւ պատվիրեց 200 կգ։ Կրկնակի աշխարհի եւ Եվրոպայի չեմպիոնը չկարողացավ պոկել 200 կգ-ը եւ այս վարժությունում պայքարն ավարտեց 190 կգ-ով։

Հրում վարժությունում Լալայանը պայքարը սկսեց 245 կգ-ով, բայց ձախողեց առաջին երկու մոտեցումները։ Երրորդ մոտեցմամբ հաջողությամբ գլխավերեւում ֆիքսեց 246 կգ-ոց ծանրաձողը եւ նվաճեց այս վարժության փոքր բրոնզե մեդալը։

Սիմոն Մարտիրոսյանն առաջին մոտեցմամբ հրեց 235 կգ: Երկրորդ մոտեցման համար պատվիրված 240 կգ-ոց ծանրաձողը չկարողացավ հրել։ Մարտիրոսյանը ձախողեց նաեւ երրորդ մոտեցումը 240 կգ-ով։ Կրկնակի օլիմպիական փոխչեմպիոնը երկու վարժությունների 6 մոտեցումներից հաջողեց միայն երկուսում։

Այս քաշային կարգում հանդես եկող Հայաստանի հավաքականի նախկին անդամ Գոռ Մինասյանի առաջին մոտեցումը 241 կգ-ով անհաջող ստացվեց։ Երկրորդ մոտեցման համար պատվիրեց 242 կգ եւ հաջողությամբ հրեց ծանրաձողը։ Երրորդ մոտեցմամբ Գոռ Մինասյանը հրեց 250 կգ եւ շրջանցեց Վարազդատ Լալայանին՝ նվաճելով այս վարժության փոքր արծաթե մեդալը։
