1919-Հայ-ադրբեջանական պատերազմի ժամանակ մուսուլմանական ամբոխը, որի մեջ էին նաև Զանգեզուրից փախածները, հարձակվել են հայկական Ներքին Ակուլիս գյուղի վրա և սկսել սպանել հանդիպածներին, որով իսկ ստիպել են, որ կենդանի մնացածները փախչեն Վերին Ակուլիս:

1920- ՀԽՍՀ Հեղկոմի հրամանով Հայաստանի բոլոր մշակութային-կրթական հիմնարկները պետականացվել են։

1922- ծնվել է թատրոնի և կինոյի դերասանուհի Մելինե Համամջյանը:

1929- պետականացվել է Էջմիածնի Մատենադարանը։

1974- վախճանվել է քանդակագործուհի Այծեմնիկ Ուրարտուն:

1991-Հայաստանը դիվանագիտական հարաբերություններ է հաստատել Ռումինիայի հետ:

2001-Երևանի «Զվարթնոց» միջազգային օդանավակայանի կառավարումը փոխանցվել է արգենտինական «Aeropuertos Argentina» ընկերությանը:

2010- Երևանի ավագանին քաղաքապետ է ընտրել «ՀայՌուսգազարդի» տնօրեն Կարեն Կարապետյանին:

2015-հայ-ադրբեջանական շփման գծում գիշերը ադրբեջանցիների կողմից ձեռնարկվել է անհաջող դիվերսիոն հետախուզական ներթափանցման փորձ, սակայն թշնամին ստացել է հակահարված և արդյունքում ծանր կորուստներ կրել:

1273- վախճանվել է պարսիկ նշանավոր բանաստեղծ, իրավաբան, սուֆի և աստվածաբան Ջալալեդդին Ռումին:

1525 -վախճանվել է իտալացի կոմպոզիտոր Ջովանի Պերլուջի Պալեստրինը:

1770 - ծնվել է գերմանացի կոմպոզիտոր է Լյուդվիգ վան Բեթհովենը:

1778 - ծնվել է անգլիացի քիմիկոս և ֆիզիկոս Հեմֆրի Դևին:

1797 -ծնվել է ամերիկացի ֆիզիկոս, ինքնաինդուկցիայի երևույթի հայտնագործող Ջոզեֆ Հենրին:

1837 -Սանկտ Պետերբուրգի Ձմեռային պալատում խոշոր հրդեհ է բռնկվել:

1857 -վախճանվել է անգլիացի ծովագնաց Ֆրենսիս Բոֆարտը, որը մշակել է քամու ուժգնության որոշման 12 բալանոց սանդղակը:

1887 - ծնվել է չեխ նկարիչ և գրող Յոզեֆ Լադան:

1903- Ռայթ եղբայրներն իրենց պատրաստած թռչող սարքով առաջին անգամ օդ են բարձրացել:

1907- վախճանվել է անգլիացի ճանաչված ֆիզիկոս Թոմսոն Վիլ յամ Կելվինը:

1926 - ԽՍՀՄ-ում առաջին անգամ անցկացվել է մարդահամար:

1941 -Երկրորդ համաշխարհային պատերազմի ժամանակ Սիրտ ծոցում տեղի է ունեցել առաջին ծովամարտը Ֆիլիպ Վիանի գլխավորած անգլիական և Անժելո Նիկանոյի ղեկավարած իտալական նավատորմերի միջև:

1973 -ահաբեկչությունների շարք է տեղի ունեցել Հռոմի օդանավակայանում, որի արդյունքում ահաբեկիչները ոչնչացրել են Boeing 707 օդանավը, ապա, գրավելով գերմանական Boeing 737 ինքնաթիռը, թռել Քուվեյթ, որտեղ էլ բաց են թողել պատանդներին: Ընդհանուր զոհվել է 34 անձ:

1989- FOX հեռուստաընկերության կողմից առաջին անգամ ցուցադրվել է «Սիմփսոններ» մուլտֆիլմը:

1993 -կազմավորվել է Major League Soccer»-ը (MLS), որը ԱՄՆ-ի և Կանադայի ֆուտբոլի բարձրագույն դիվիզիոնի պրոֆեսիոնալ ֆուտբոլային լիգան է:

1998- ԱՄՆ-ը և Մեծ Բրիտանիան Իրաքում սկսել են «Աղվեսն անապատում» ռազմական գործողությունը:

1999- Կարիբյան ծովի ափին տեղի է ունեցել ջրհեղեղ, որի հետևանքով Վենեսուելայի Վարգաս նահանգում զոհվել է 10 000-ից մինչև 30 000 մարդ:

2011 -վախճանվել է ԿԺԴՀ (Հյուսիսային Կորեա) ղեկավար Կիմ Չեն Իրը:
