Իրանը Հարավային Կովկասի համար «3+3» ձևաչափը (Հայաստան, Ադրբեջան, Վրաստան- Ռուսաստան, Իրան, Թուրքիա) համարում է շատ հաջող և ակտիվ մասնակցություն է ունեցել այս ձևաչափի առաջին հանդիպմանը, որը տեղի է ունեցել Մոսկվայում, NEWS.ru-ի հետ զրույցում ասել է Մոսկվայում Իրանի դեսպան Քազեմ Ջալալին։ 

Նրա խոսքով` Թեհրանի համար շատ կարևոր է Հարավային Կովկասի անվտանգության և կայունության հարցը, և այդ պատճառով էլ մասնակցում է այդ ձևաչափին Ռուսաստանի, Թուրքիայի և անդրկովկասյան այլ հանրապետությունների հետ։

«Մենք լիովին աջակցում ենք Հարավային Կովկասի երկրների տարածքային ամբողջականությանը։ Ցանկացած աշխարհաքաղաքական փոփոխություն այս տարածաշրջանում մենք վտանգավոր ենք համարում և դեմ ենք դրան։ Մենք երկխոսությունը, փոխգործակցությունը և բանակցությունները համարում ենք հակամարտությունների կարգավորման լավագույն միջոցը»,- ընդգծել է Ջալալին։

«3+3» հարթակի նախորդ հանդիպումը տեղի է ունեցել նախորդ տարվա դեկտեմբերին։ Ռուսաստանի, Ադրբեջանի, Հայաստանի, Թուրքիայի և Իրանի ներկայացուցիչները հավաքվել էին քննարկելու Հարավային Կովկասի խնդիրները։ Հրավեր էր ուղարկվել նաև Վրաստան, սակայն երկրի իշխանությունները հրաժարվել են միանալ հանդիպմանը։
