Լաչինի միջանցքը ցեղասպանության կանխարգելման միջանցք է։ «Ընդդեմ ցեղասպանության հանցագործության» 4-րդ գլոբալ ֆորումի ժամանակ այս մասին ասաց վարչապետ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը։
 
«Պետք է ընդգծել այն սադրանքները, որոնք տեղի են ունենում Լաչինի միջանցքում։ Ոմանք փորձում են Լաչինի միջանցքը զուգահեռել տարածաշրջանում գոյություն ունեցող այլ կոմունիկացիների կամ հնարավոր կառուցվելիք կոմունիկացիաների հետ, բայց Լաչինի միջանցքը ցեղասպանության կանխարգելման միջանցք է։ Փակել այդ միջանցքը, դադարեցնել այդ միջանցքի գործունեությունը` նշանակում է ԼՂ հայությանը դատապարտել ցեղասպանության 3 տարբեր սցենարներով»,–ասաց Փաշինյանը։
 
Իսկ առաջին սցենարը, ըստ նրա, կարող է լինել զուտ հայաթափման սցենար, երբ պարազպես ԼՂ հայերը հնարավորություն չունեն ապրել իրենց տներում, հողերում, ինչի մինի մոդելը, ըստ Փաշինյանի, տեսնում ենք ԼՂ Հադրութի շրջանում, որտեղ 2020-ի 44-օրյայից հետո ոչ մի հայ չի ապրում։ Նա հիշեցրեց, որ նոյեմբերի 9-ի հայտարարությունը նախատեսում է փախստականների վերադարձ ԼՂ և հարակից շրջաններ, սակայն մինչ այսօր անգամ ՄԱԿ–ի փախստականների աշխատակիցներն այդ տարածք մուտք չեն գործել։
 
Հաջորդ սցենարն էլ, ըստ նրա, ինքնության կորուստն է, ինչի վառ ապացույցն է Ադրբեջանի պայքարը ԼՂ տեղանունների և պատմամշակութային հուշարձանների դեմ։ Եվ, վերջապես, երրորդ սցենարը բուն ֆիզիկական ոչնչացումն է, որի նախանշանները տեսել և տեսնում ենք մինչ օրս։
