Վարչապետ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանն ընդունել է Հայաստանում ԱՄՆ արտակարգ և լիազոր դեսպան Լին Թրեյսիին, ով ավարտում է դիվանագիտական առաքելությունը մեր երկրում: 

Վարչապետը բարձր է գնահատել տիկին դեսպանի գործունեությունը մեր երկրում և նշել, որ նրա պաշտոնավարման ընթացքում հայ-ամերիկյան հարաբերություններում արձանագրվել է դինամիկ զարգացում: Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի խոսքով՝ վերջին տարիների ընթացքում, այդ թվում՝ ԱՄՆ օժանդակությամբ, մեր երկրում իրականացվում են ինստիտուցիոնալ բարեփոխումներ, որոնք նպաստում են ժողովրդավարության զարգացմանն ու ամրապնդմանը: Վարչապետը հավելել է, որ հայ-ամերիկյան ռազմավարական երկխոսության շրջանակում ևս իրականացվող ծրագրերը նպաստում են երկկողմ փոխշահավետ կապերի ընդլայնմանը:

Լին Թրեյսին շնորհակալություն է հայտնել վարչապետին և ՀՀ կառավարությանը՝ սերտ համագործակցության համար և նշել, որ իր պաշտոնավարման ընթացքում Հայաստանում տեղի ունեցած փոփոխություններն էապես նպաստել են մեր երկրում ժողովրդավարության առաջմղմանը: Այս համատեքստում, դեսպանն ընդգծել է հատկապես կոռուպցիայի դեմ պայքարում և պետական կառավարման ոլորտում արդյունավետ բարեփոխումների իրականացման փաստը:

Զրուցակիցները քննարկել են հայ-ամերիկյան հարաբերություններին առնչվող, ինչպես նաև երկուստեք հետաքրքրություն ներկայացնող տարբեր հարցեր:
