Թուրքիայի ազգային պաշտպանության նախարար Հուլուսի Աքարն ու Ադրբեջանի պաշտպանության նախարար Զաքիր Հասանովը միասին հետևել են Իրանի սահմանի մոտ Թուրքիայի և Ադրբեջանի համատեղ զորավարժություններին:
Երեկ հաղորդվել էր, որ Ադրբեջանում՝ Իրանի հետ սահմանի երկայնքով, մեկնարկել են թուրք-ադրբեջանական համատեղ զորավարժությունները։
Ադրբեջանի ՊՆ տվյալներով՝ զորավարժությունները, որոնց ներգրավված են տարբեր տեսակի զորքերի անձնակազմը, մարտական և հատուկ ինժեներասակրավորային տեխնիկա, ինչպես նաև երկու երկրների զինված ուժերի ռազմական ավիացիայի միջոցները, ընթանում են Բաքվում, Աստարայի, Ջրականի (Ջաբրայի) ու Իմիշլիի շրջաններում, որոնք աշխարհագրորեն գտնվում են Իրանի հետ սահմանին մոտ։
Համաձայն զորավարժությունների սցենարի՝ Ադրբեջանի բանակի ցամաքային զորքերի, ռազմաօդային ուժերի, հատուկ նշանակության ուժերի, ինժեներական զորքերի և հրթիռահրետանային զորքերի ստորաբաժանումները, Թուրքիայի զինված ուժերի զինծառայողների հետ, իրականացնում են ուսումնամարտական տարբեր առաջադրանքներ։
«Զորավարժությունների ընթացքում, հաշվի առնելով ժամանակակից մարտ վարելու եղանակները, իրականացվում են տարբեր առաջադրանքներ` հրետանու, ավիացիայի և զորքերի այլ տեսակների ռազմական գործողություններում կիրառման, համախմբվածության կազմակերպման, գետերի վրայով պոնտոնային կամուրջներով անցումներ կատարելու, ինչպես նաև դեսանտը պայմանական հակառակորդի թիկունքում իջեցնելու համար»,- հայտարարել է Ադրբեջանի ՊՆ-ն։
Նշվում է, որ համատեղ վարժանքների ընթացքում հիմնական ուշադրությունը դարձվում է զորքերի փոխգործակցության ժամանակ մարտական ներդաշնակության ապահովմանը, կառավարման կատարելագործմանը, փորձի փոխանակմանը և անձնակազմի պրոֆեսիոնալիզմի բարձրացմանը:
