Այս օրերին կես կատակ-կես լուրջ ակտիվորեն քննարկվում է այն հարցը, թե դատախազությունում հաստատվում է «կանանց իշխանություն»: Այս հանգամանքը մեզ հուշեց սեփական ուսումնասիրությունն անցկացնել մասնավորաբար մայրաքաղաքի փողոցներում՝ հասկանալու, թե մեր հայրենակիցներն ինչպես են վերաբերվում բարձր պաշտոններում կանանց ներգրավվածությանը, քանի որ, ինչքան էլ ցավալի լինի, մեր հասարակության մեջ այս հարցում դեռ լուրջ վերապահումներ կան:

Մեզ հետ զրուցած երևանցիների մոտ 40 տոկոսը դեմ  չէր վարչապետի կամ Երևանի քաղաքապետի պաշտոնում կին ղեկավարի ընտրության հարցում: Կային, իհարկե, անձիք, ովքեր առաջնորդվում էին «կինն ինչ գործ ունի ղեկավարման հետ» մտածելակերպով, բայց ուրախությամբ պետք է նշել, որ այդ թիվը զգալիորեն սակավ էր: 

Ավելի ուշագրավ էր, որ այդ թերահավատների մոտ 70 տոկոսը... հենց կանայք էին: 

Տղամարդիկ ավելի շատ էին հակված հավատալ ու վստահել կանանց: 

Մեր հաջորդ հարցը վերաբերում էր նրան, թե կին քաղաքական գործիչներից ում են ճանաչում:  Ընդհանուր առմամբ հնչել է մոտ 15 անուն, սակայն 7-8 անունները ամենահաճախ հանդիպողներն էին: 

Մեր զրուցակիցները բոլորից լավ ճանաչում էին Մանե Թանդիլյանին, ով, ի դեպ, մեր ունեցած տեղեկություններով, առաջիկայում կայանալիք Երևանի ավագանու ընտրություններին լինելու է «Ապրելու երկիր» կուսակցության ցուցակի առաջին համարը, այսինքն՝ քաղաքապետի թեկնածուն, Կարին Տոնոյանին, որն այս շրջանում մի փոքր ավելի պասիվ է,  նախկին պատգամավորներ Նաիրա Զոհրաբյանին, Զարուհի Փոստանջյանին, ընդդիմադիր պատգամավորներ Աննա Մկրտչյանին, Աննա Գրիգորյանին (մեծ մասն ասում էր՝ Աննաները), Ագնեսա Խամոյանին, Թագուհի Թովմասյանին, իշխանականներից՝ քաղավիացիայի կոմիտեի նախկին նախագահ Տաթևիկ Ռևազյանին (շատերն ասում էին՝ ավիացիայի էն սիրուն աղջիկը), պատգամավոր Լուսինե Բադալյանին և վարչապետի տիկին Աննա Հակոբյանին:

Ի դեպ, շատերը պնդում էին, որ երկիրը աղետալի ճգնաժամից դուրս կգա, եթե հայերը խոհեմություն ունենան և կառավարման ղեկը հանձնեն կանանց։ Հետաքրքիր դիտարկում է, ինչ խոսք։
