«Փաստ» օրաթերթը գրում է
Ընդդիմադիր հասարակական-քաղաքական գործիչ Ավետիք Չալաբյանի գործով դատական վերջին նիստը ուշագրավ զարգացումներ ստացավ: Նախ՝ նշենք, որ գործով առանցքային վկա Թոռնիկ Ալիյանը նիստին չէր ներկայացել, ու դատավորի կողմից որոշում կայացվեց հաջորդ նիստին նրան բերման ենթարկել։ Ինչ վերաբերում է վկաներից Ագրարային համալսարանի ուսանողական խորհրդի փոխնախագահ Արմեն Սողոմոնյանին, ապա, բացի վերջինիս հարցաքննության ժամանակ եղած որոշ ակնհայտ հակասություններից, Սողոմոնյանը նաև նշեց, որ Թոռնիկ Ալիյանը գնացել էր հանդիպման՝ հստակ մտադրությամբ մերժելու որևէ քաղաքական ուժի հետ համագործակցության առաջարկ:
Հարցին՝ եթե իրոք այդպես է, ինչո՞ւ է թույլ տվել, որ գումարային քննարկումներ ծավալվեն, նա պատասխանեց, որ Ալիյանն իրենց ասել է, թե հետաքրքրությունից դրդված է եղել։ Այս ամենի մեջ հետաքրքիր է, որ, ինչպես ցույց են տալիս ձայնագրությունները, Թոռնիկ Ալիյանը ագրարային համալսարանի դասախոս Էմմա Սարգսյանի հետ զրույցում հենց ինքն է գումարային թեմաներ «բացում», չնայած, ինչպես վերը նշված վկան էր նշել, նա գնացել էր «հստակ մտադրությամբ մերժելու որևէ քաղաքական ուժի հետ համագործակցության առաջարկ»:
«Փաստ» թերթի տեղեկություններով, այս ամենը առաջ է բերել դատախազության դժգոհությունը, որ գործը չափազանց թերի է քննվել և դատարանում այն ոչ միայն փլուզվում է, այլև կարող է շրջադարձային ընթացք ունենալ: Ըստ այդմ, մեր հավաստի աղբյուրների փոխանցմամբ, շուտով Թոռնիկ Ալիյանը վկայից կարող է ստանալ մեղադրյալի կարգավիճակ, քանի որ հենց նա է նյութական շահագրգռության հարց բարձրացրել:
