ՀՀ ԱԺ նախագահ Ալեն Սիմոնյանը Կատարի Պետության Մաջլիս ալ-Շուրայի նախագահ Հասսան բին Աբդուլլա ալ-Ղանիմի հրավերով եռօրյա աշխատանքային այցով Կատարում է: Այցի շրջանակում ՀՀ ԱԺ նախագահը հանդիպում է ունեցել Մաջլիս ալ-Շուրայի փոխնախագահ Համդա բինթ Հասան բին Աբդալռահման Ալ-Սուլեյթիի հետ: Հանդիպմանը մասնակցել են արաբական այլ երկրների խորհրդարանականներ եւ Արաբական Մեհրաբի խորհրդատվական խորհրդի նախագահ, դոկտոր Սաիդ Մոկադեմը:
Հանդիպմանը քննարկվել են Կատարի հետ խորհրդարանական ձեւաչափով համագորակցության հնարավոր ուղղությունները: Երկուստեք արձանագրվել է օրենսդիր մարմինների միջեւ հարաբերությունների զարգացումը, որն էլ ավելի է ամրացնում երկկողմ միջպետական կապերը՝ ի նպաստ բարեկամ ժողովուրդների բարեկեցության: «Վստահ եմ, որ հայ-կատարական փոխհամագործակցությունը զարգացման եւ ընդլայման մեծ ներուժ ունի եւ ես՝ որպես ՀՀ Ազգային ժողովի նախագահ, պատրաստ եմ աջակցելու Հայաստան-Կատար փոխշահավետ համագործակցության զարգացմանը՝ ի շահ մեր բարեկամ ժողովուրդների»,- մասնավորապես, նշել է ՀՀ ԱԺ նախագահը:
