Ադրբեջանի նախագահ Իլհամ Ալիևը ռազմատենչ հայտարարություններ է արել Իրանի հասցեին։
«Ես աշխատել եմ Իրանի նախկին երեք նախագահների՝ Հաթամիի, Ահմադինեջատի և Ռուհանիի հետ։ Երկարատև այս փորձառության ընթացքում երբևէ չի եղել այսօրվա դրության պես մեկ այլ իրավիճակ։ Մի քանի ամսվա ընթացքում մեր սահմանում Իրանը երբեք դեռ երկու անգամ զորավարժություն անց չէր կացրել։
Երբեք Ադրբեջանի հանդեպ այսքան ատելությամբ և սպառնալիքներով լի հայտարարություններ չէր արվել», - այսօր ասել է Ադրբեջանի նախագահ Իլհամ Ալիևը՝ ելույթ ունենալով «Միջին միջանցքի երկայնքով։ Աշխարհաքաղաքականություն, անվտանգություն և տնտեսություն» միջազգային համաժողովում։
«Մենք միշտ պատասխանել և շարունակելու ենք պատասխանել հակաադրբեջանական բոլոր քայլերին՝ լինեն դրանք հայտարարություններ թե գործողություններ։ Այդ իսկ պատճառով մենք ստիպված ենք եղել զորավարժություններ սկսել Իրանի սահմանում, որպեսզի ցույց տանք, որ մենք չենք վախենում նրանցից։ Մենք անելու ենք հնարավոր ամեն ինչ, որպեսզի պաշտպանենք մեր կենսակերպն ու Ադրբեջանի և ադրբեջանցիների զարգացման աշխարհիկ ուղղությունը՝ ներառյալ Իրանում բնակվող ադրբեջանցիները։ Նրանք նույնպես մեր ազգի մի մասն են», - հայտարարել է Իլհամ Ալիևը։
