Մեծ Բրիտանիայի նախկին վարչապետ Բորիս Ջոնսոնը մի շարք աղմկահարույց հայտարարությունն է արել եվրոպական երկրների վերաբերյալ՝ Ուկրաինայում պատերազմի համատեքստում:
Ինչպես գրում է Daily Mail-ը, ըստ Ջոնսոնի՝ Գերմանիան ցանկանում էր, որ Ուկրաինան արագ պարտություն կրեր, մինչդեռ Ֆրանսիան մինչև վերջին պահը «ժխտում էր» (Ռուսաստանի ներխուժման հավանականությունը), քանի դեռ ռուսական զորքերը չեն հատել սահմանը:
Նախկին վարչապետն ասել է, որ փետրվարի 24-ի ներխուժումից առաջ պատերազմող երկրները լարվածության վերաբերյալ տարբեր կարծիքներ են ունեցել։
CNN-ին տված հարցազրույցում նա առանձնացրել է ԵՄ ամենահայտնի երկրներից երեքը:
«Ըստ Գերմանիայի տեսակետի՝ եթե դա տեղի ունենա, ապա աղետ կլիներ և այդ դեպքում ավելի լավ կլիներ, որ ամբողջ գործն արագ ավարտվեր, և Ուկրաինան պարտվեր: Ես կարծում էի, որ դա աղետալի տեսակետ է: Բայց հասկանում եմ, թե ինչու էին նրանք մայդպես մտածում»,-ասել է Ջոնսոնը՝ նկատի ունենալով էներգետիկ առումով Մոսկվայից Բեռլինի կախումը:
Աղբյուրը նշում է, որ Գերմանիան, ռուսական ներխուժումից ի վեր, փորձել է նվազեցնել իր կախվածությունը, սակայն երկրին դեռ սպասվում է հնարավոր ծանր ձմեռ:
«Չկասկածեք, որ ֆրանսիացիները ժխտում էին (Ռուսաստանի ներխուժման հավանականությունը) մինչև վերջին պահը», - շարունակել է Ջոնսոնը:
Ջոնսոնը նաև ասել է, որ Իտալիայի կառավարությունը նախկին վարչապետ Մարիո Դրագիի օրոք «ինչ-որ փուլում պարզապես ասում էր, որ իրենք չեն կարողանա աջակցել Մեծ Բրիտանիայի դիրքորոշմանը»:
Նա Իտալիայի դժկամությունը կապել է ռուսական գազից կախվածության հետ։ Սակայն նախկին վարչապետն ասաց, որ Արևմուտքը արագ հասկացել է, որ ՌԴ նախագահ Վլադիմիր Պուտինի հետ չի կարելի բանակցել, և անհրաժեշտ է միասնական ճակատ:
Ըստ Ջոնսոնի՝ «ԵՄ-ն փայլուն է գործել» ներխուժումից հետո՝ հավելելով. «Իմ բոլոր անհանգստություններից հետո… ես հարգանքի տուրք եմ մատուցում ԵՄ-ի գործելաոճին»:
Գերմանիայի կառավարության խոսնակը հրաժարվել է մեկնաբանել Ջոնսոնի հայտարարությունը, մինչդեռ Ելիսեյան պալատում չեն պատասխանել պատասխանել հարցումներին: Մեկնաբանությունների համար պարբերականը դիմել է ննաև Իտալիայի նախկին վարչապետ Դրագիին մոտ կանգնած աղբյուրները:
