Ռուսաստանի Դաշնության նախագահը թերագնահատել է իր ապագա հակառակորդին, ինչի համար գինը վճարել է։ Այս մասին ասել է ՆԱՏՕ-ի գլխավոր քարտուղար Ենս Ստոլտենբերգը Մադրիդում Հյուսիսատլանտյան դաշինքի Խորհրդարանական վեհաժողովի նստաշրջանում իր ելույթում՝ մատնանշելով «Վլադիմիր Պուտինի թույլ տված ռազմավարական սխալները»։
Ըստ Ստոլտենբերգի՝ Ուկրաինայի վրա հարձակման ժամանակ «Մոսկվան թույլ է տվել երկու մեծ սխալ, որոնք ճակատագրական դեր են խաղացել»:
ՆԱՏՕ-ի գլխավոր քարտուղարի խոսքով՝ «Պուտինը թերագնահատել է ուկրաինացիների քաջությունն ու կամքը՝ պայքարելու իրենց ազատության և պետության անկախության համար, ինչպես նաև թերագնահատել է Ուկրաինային աջակցելու ՆԱՏՕ-ի դաշնակիցների և գործընկերների միասնությունն ու անողոք վճռականությունը»:
«Նա կարծում էր, որ կարող է Ուկրաինայում հաղթել մի քանի օրվա ընթացքում: Ինն ամիս անց Ռուսաստանը շարունակում է ձախողումը ձախողման հետևից, իսկ ուկրաինացիները շարունակում են ազատել իրենց տարածքը օկուպացիայից»,- ընդգծել է Ստոլտենբերգը։
Միևնույն ժամանակ Ստոլտենբերգն ասել է, որ Ռուսաստանին թերագնահատելը մեծ սխալ կլինի։
Այն շարունակում է ունենալ զգալի ռազմական հնարավորություններ և մեծ թվով զորքեր։
«Այսպիսով, մենք պետք է պատրաստ լինենք Ուկրաինային երկարաժամկետ աջակցելուն: Այո, ես գիտեմ, որ այս աջակցությունը գին ունի: Մեր երկրներում շատ մարդիկ բախվում են կյանքի ծախսերի ճգնաժամի: Աճում են էներգիայի և սննդի գները. շատերի համար դժվար ժամանակներ են: Բայց այն գինը, որը մենք վճարում ենք որպես ՆԱՏՕ-ի դաշնակիցներ, չափվում է փողով:
Մինչ ուկրաինացիները վճարում են մի գին, որը չափվում է արյունով:
Ուստի, եթե թույլ տանք Պուտինին հաղթել, բոլորս ստիպված կլինենք վճարել շատ ավելի բարձր գին։
Ամբողջ աշխարհում ավտորիտար ռեժիմները կսովորեն, որ բիրտ ուժով կարող են հասնել իրենց ուզածին:
Սա ուղղակի հետևանքներ կունենա մեր անվտանգության համար։ Դա ավելի վտանգավոր կդարձներ աշխարհը, իսկ մեզ՝ ավելի խոցելի։ Դա է պատճառը, որ մենք չենք կարող թույլ տալ, որ նախագահ Պուտինը հաղթի Ուկրաինայում։ Այսպիսով, մենք պետք է շարունակենք միասնական մնալ»,- եզրափակել է Ստոլտենբերգը:
Ռուսաստանի նախագահ Վլադիմիր Պուտինը փետրվարի 24-ին ռուսաստանցիներին ուղղված ուղերձում հայտարարել է, որ որոշում է կայացրել Դոնբասում հատուկ ռազմական գործողություն սկսելու մասին։
«Հանգամանքները մեզանից պահանջում են վճռական և անհապաղ գործողություններ։ Դոնբասի ժողովրդական հանրապետությունները օգնության խնդրանքով դիմել են Ռուսաստանին։ Այդ կապակցությամբ, իմ կողմից որոշում է ընդունվել հատուկ ռազմական գործողություն անցկացնելու մասին»,- ասել էր ՌԴ նախագահը։
