ԱՄՆ նախագահ Ջո Բայդենը կարծում է, որ ուկրաինական հակամարտությունը հնարավոր կլինի լուծել միայն ռուսական զորքերի դուրսբերման դեպքում, գրում է ՏԱՍՍ գործակալությունը՝ հղում անելով Սպիտակ տան մամուլի ծառայությանը։ Բայդենը վստահ է, որ առանց այդ նախապայմանի Ուկրաինայի շուրջ ստեղծված իրավիճակը չի հաջողվի կարգավորել։
«Չեմ կարծում, որ հակամարտությունը կլուծվի քանի դեռ (Ռուսաստանի նախագահ Վլադիմիր - խմբ․) Պուտինը դուրս չի բերել (ուժերը - խմբ․) Ուկրաինայից», - ասել է Բայդենը։
Այս հայտարարությունն ԱՄՆ նախագահն արել է ասիական ու աֆրիկյան երկրներ շրջագայության մեկնելու նախաշեմին, որի շրջանակներում նախատեսում է այցելել նաև Ինդոնեզիա՝ մասնակցելու Բալի կղզում կայանալիք G20 գագաթնաժողովին։ «Մեծ քսանյակի» հանդիպումից բացի Բայդենը մտադիր է այցելել նաև Եգիպտոս ու Կամբոջա՝ մասնակցելու մի շարք միջազգային միջոցառումներին։
