«Փաստ» օրաթերթը գրում է
Նախօրեին ՀՀԿ փոխնախագահ Արմեն Աշոտյանը նշել էր, թե «մոտակա ժամանակահատվածում այս սրիկաները շատ զավեշտալի պատրվակով պլանավորում են ինձ ձերբակալել»: Աշոտյանը նաև մանրամասներ էր ներկայացրել այդ «գործի» մասին: Քաղտեխնոլոգ Վիգեն Հակոբյանը, անդրադառնալով այս թեմային, մասնավորաբար նշեց, որ դժվար թե ամբողջ աշխարհում որևէ ադեկվատ, քիչ թե շատ մտածող մարդ գտնվի, ով կհավատա, թե Արմեն Աշոտյանի նկատմամբ իրականացվող հետապնդումը քրեական բնույթի է:
«Արմեն Աշոտյանն այս քաղաքական վարչախմբի ամենասուր, ամենագրագետ, ամենաինտելեկտուալ ընդդիմադիրներից՝ թոփ հնգյակի մեջ մտնող քաղաքական գործիչներից մեկն է, որը հիմնավոր փաստաթղթերով, հիմնավորումներով ու քաղաքական գրագիտությամբ է քննադատում իշխանություններին: Բնականաբար, դա շատ վտանգավոր է այս իշխանությունների համար: Ցանկացած ռեժիմ, մանավանդ, եթե այդ ռեժիմն ուզում է, իբր, ժողովրդավարության կղզյակ ներկայանալ, իր քաղաքական հակառակորդին չեզոքացնելու համար ոչ թե քաղաքական, այլ քրեական երանգ է տալիս: Եթե հանկարծ Աշոտյանի նկատմամբ նման դրսևորումներ լինեն, նա կհամալրի Հայաստանում արդեն իսկ առկա քաղբանտարկյալների շարքերը: Պարզ է, որ քաղաքական հետապնդման խնդիր է դրված:
Ուղղակի փորձում են լռեցնել ամենագրագետ և ամենապայքարող տեսակը: Սա տեսակի պայքար է՝ քաղաքական, մարդկային տեսակի պայքար: Սակայն, ինչպես ասում են, հարձակվել են՝ թող պաշտպանվեն, որովհետև Արմեն Աշոտյանը ինտելեկտով, համարձակությամբ, տրամաբանությամբ, նաև իր արտաքին կապերով ու մեծ ռեսուրսով կարող է ծածկել իշխանական վերնախավի մի զգալի մասը: Ակնհայտ է նաև, որ սա արտաքին աշխարհում քաղաքական հետապնդում է ընկալվելու»,-«Փաստի» հետ զրույցում նշեց Վիգեն Հակոբյանը:
