Հարավային Կորեայի նախագահ Յուն Սոկ Յոլը ներողություն է խնդրել Սեուլի կենտրոնում տեղի ունեցած մահացու հրմշտոցի համար, որի հետևանքով զոհվել է առնվազն 156 մարդ։ Այս մասին հաղորդում է Yonhap գործակալությունը։
«Ներողություն եմ խնդրում զոհերի ընտանիքներից, որոնք աննկարագրելի ողբերգություն են ապրում, ինչպես նաև ամբողջ երկրից, որը կիսում է այս ցավն ու վիշտը», - հայտարարել է նախագահը։
Նա ընդգծել է, որ անվտանգության ոլորտում լուրջ փոփոխություններ են հարկավոր։ Բացի այդ, հարավկորեացի առաջնորդը խոսք է տվել պատասխանատվության ենթարկել մեղավորների՝ նշելով, որ ամբողջ գործընթացը բաց կլինի հանրության համար։
Հիշեցնենք, որ ողբերգական միջադեպը տեղի է ունեցել հոկտեմբերի 29-ի երեկոյան Հելոուինի տանակատարության ժամանակ Սեուլի կենտրոնում գտնվող Իթհևոն թաղամասի նեղ փողոցներից մեկում։ Մահացու հրմշտոցի հետևանքով զոհվել է առնվազն 156 մարդ, այդ թվում՝ 26 օտարերկրացի։ Մահացածների մեծ մասը անչափահասներ և 20-ն անց երիտասարդներ են: Հրշեջները զոհերի մեծ թիվը բացատրում են «բազմաթիվ մարդկանց ոտնահարվելու» փաստով։ Միջադեպի պահին դեպքի վայրում հավաքվածների թիվը հասնում էր 100 հազարի։
