Կամո Ունանյանը՝ 12-րդ WUKF Եվրոպայի առաջնության հաղթող

Սպորտային կարատեի աշխարհի եւ Եվրոպայի չեմպիոն, Հայաստանի կարատեի միության հիմնադիր Կամո Ունանյանը դարձել է 12-րդ WUKF Եվրոպայի առաջնության հաղթող՝ մինչեւ 75 կգ քաշային կարգում, տեղեկացնում են Հայաստանի կարատեի միության լրատվական ծառայությունից։
Առաջնությունը տեղի է ունեցել Իտալիայի Ֆլորենցիա քաղաքում, եւ Կամո Ունանյանը Հայաստանի պատմության մեջ առաջին մեդալակիրն է WUKF Եվրոպայի առաջնությունում:
Ունանյանը հաղթել է Սլովակիան, Մեծ Բրիտանիան, Ֆրանսիան ներկայացնող մարզիկներին, իսկ եզրափակչում՝ Իտալիան ներկայացնող մարզիկին ու դարձել Ֆլորենցիայում կայացած մրցաշարի հաղթող:
Ինչպես նշել է Կամո Ունանյանը, ամենադժվար մարտը կիսաեզրափակչում էր: Նա ֆրանսիացու հետ մենամարտում ստացել է կողոսկրի վնասվածք, բայց մեծ կամքի ուժ դրսեւորելով՝ շարունակել է մարտը եւ մեծ դժվարությամբ հաղթել: Իսկ արդեն եզրափակչում 6:1 հաշվով նա հաջողություն է ունեցել իտալացի մարզիկի հանդեպ:
Հիշեցնենք, որ WUKF-ն հանդիսանում է կարատեի ամենախոշոր վարկածներից մեկն աշխարհում, իսկ վերոնշյալ առաջնությունում մեր երկիրը ներկայացրել է Հայաստանի կարատեի միությունը, որի հիմնադիրն է հենց Կամո Ունանյանը:
