ԱՄՆ նախկին նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփը հայտարարել է, որ կարող է մասնակցել հաջորդ նախագահական ընտրություններին, որպեսզի երկիրը կրկին «հաջողակ և անվտանգ» դարձնի, և մոտ ժամանակներում մտադիր է տեղեկացնել 2024 թվականի նախընտրական քարոզարշավի իր ծրագրերի մասին, գրում է ՌԻԱ Նովոստին։
«Այժմ մեր երկիրն անվտանգ, հաջողակ ու փառավոր դարձնելու համար ես, ամենայն հավանականությամբ, կրկին դա կանեմ ։ Պատրաստվե՛ք։ Ահա այն ամենը, ինչ ես կասեմ։ Շատ շուտով։ Պատրաստվե՛ք», - ասել է Թրամփն Այովա նահանգում տեղի ունեցած հանրահավաքի ժամանակ՝ ակնարկելով, որ մտադիր է կրկին առաջադրվել նախագահի պաշտոնում։
ԱՄՆ նախկին նախագահի խոսքով՝ ինքը երկու անգամ մասնակցել է նախագահական ընտրություններին և «երկու անգամ էլ հաղթանակ տարել»։ Խոսքը 2016 և 2020 թվականների նախագահական ընտրությունների մասին, որոնցից միայն առաջինի դեպքում է Թրամփը հաղթել, սակայն քաղաքական գործիչը մինչ օրս վստահ է, որ վերջին ընտրություններում ևս հաղթել է։ Ընդ որում՝ ԱՄՆ նախկին նախագահը վստահ է, որ 2020 թվականի ընտրություններում շատ ավելի լավ արդյունք է գրանցել, քան 2016 թվականի ընտրություններում։
