Արժույթի միջազգային հիմնադրամը կաջակցի Հայաստանի կառավարության տնտեսական ծրագրին, որպեսզի երկիրը կարողանա ներդրումների, արտահանման վրա հիմնված տնտեսական աճ արձանագրել՝ միաժամանակ պահպանելով մակրոտնտեսական, հարկաբյուջետային և ֆինանսական կայունությունը:
«Արմենպրես»-ի փոխանցմամբ՝ Արժույթի միջազգային հիմնադրամը հաղորդագրություն է տարածել՝ նշելով, որ Հայաստանի հետ պայմանավորվածություն են ձեռք բերել 3-ամյա համաձայնագիր կնքելու վերաբերյալ, որը դեռևս ենթակա է Արժույթի միջազգային հիմնադրամի գործադիր խորհրդի հաստատմանը. ակնկալվում է, որ հարցը կքննարկվի 2022 թվականի դեկտեմբերին:
Նշվում է, որ Հայաստանի իշխանությունների խնդրանքով Արժույթի միջազգային հիմնադրամի աշխատակիցների խումբը 2022 թվականի սեպտեմբերի 26-ից հոկտեմբերի 6-ը եղել են Երևանում է ուսումնասիրելու երեքամյա տնտեսական ծրագիրը: Հայաստանում ունեցած հանդիպումներից և քննարկումներից հետո Հայաստան ժամանած ԱՄՀ պատվիրակության ղեկավար Իվա Պետրովան հայտարարել է, որ Հայաստանն ու Արժույթի միջազգային հիմնադրամը համաձայնության են հասել համաձայնագրի շուրջ, որը ենթադրում է շուրջ 165.6 միլիոն դոլարի հատկացում Հայաստանին՝ մակրոտնտեսական, ֆիսկալ և ֆինանսական կայունության ապահովմանն ուղղված տնտեսական ծրագրին աջակցելու համար:
Արժույթի միջազգային հիմնադրամը 2022 թվականին Հայաստանի համար 11 տոկոս տնտեսական աճ է կանխատեսել՝ արտաքին եկամուտների, կապիտալի և աշխատուժի ներհոսքի հաշվին: Նշվում է նաև, որ դրամի արժևորումը հանգեցրել է երկրի պետական պարտքի նվազմանը, որն այս տարվա արդյունքներով կկազմի ՀՆԱ-ի 51 տոկոսն այն դեպքում, երբ 2021 թվականին պետական պարտքը կազմում էր ՀՆԱ-ի 60.3 տոկոսը:
Միևնույն ժամանակ ակնկալվում է, որ 2023 թվականին տնտեսական աճը կդանդաղի և միջնաժամկետ կտրվածքով կմնա 4-5 տոկոսի միջակայքում։
