Արմեն Աշոտյանը ֆեյսբուքյան իր էջում գրում է.
Թեպետ մինչ հանդիպումը քաղաքական եւ տեղեկատվական հոսքերում ինտենսիվորեն շրջանառվում էին Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի որոշակի սուբյեկտայնությանը վերաբերող մտքեր, սակայն հայտարարության բուն տեքստում Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի մասին հիշատակումը բացակայում է իսպառ։
Անգամ այն հատվածում, որը վերաբերում է ռուս խաղաղապահների առաքելությանը, Արցախն անգամ աշխարհագրորեն հիշատակված չէ։
Դրա փոխարեն օգտագործված է «իր (առաքելության) տեղակայման վայրում» ձեւակերպումը։
Ռուսաստանի նախագահը ակնարկեց, որ հայտարարության նախագծից որոշ հատվածներ հանվել են։ Թեպետ, իհարկե, հետաքրքիր կլիներ տեսնել տեքստի նախնական տարբերակը, սակայն փաստը մնում է փաստ, որ ըստ ամենայնի Ադրբեջանին հաջողվել է հանել Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի մասին հիշատակումները տեքստից։
Իսկ Ալմա-Աթայի 1991 թվականի հռչակագրի հիշատակումը նման փաստաթղթում առհասարակ հասկանալի չէ։ Այս հռչակագրի մասին բազմիցս խոսել ենք եւ կրկին կխոսենք։
Մենք քանիցս հայտնել ենք, որ կողմ կլինենք կարգավորման այնպիսի տարբերակի, որը խաչ չի քաշի Արցախի ժողովրդի ինքնորոշման իրավունքի հեռանկարի եւ հնարավորության վրա։
