Հայաստանի ֆուտբոլի ֆեդերացիան «Բազել»-ի հետ խաղից հետո կանդրադառնա «Փյունիկ»-ի գլխավոր մարզիչ Եղիշե Մելիքյանի հայտարարությանը:
Այս մասին գրում է ՀՖՖ-ն: Տարածված հաղորդագրության մեջ մասնավորապես ասված է. «Հոկտեմբերի 30-ին «Փյունիկ» ՖԱ պաշտոնական կայքում հրապարակվեց ակումբի գլխավոր մարզիչ Եղիշե Մելիքյանի հարցազրույցը, որում նա նաև անդրադարձ էր կատարել Հայաստանի ֆուտբոլի ֆեդերացիային: Հայաստանի ֆուտբոլի ֆեդերացիան չի պատրաստվում մանրամասնորեն անդրադառնալ Եղիշե Մելիքյանի՝ իրականության հետ աղերս չունեցող հայտարարություններին մինչև «Բազելի» հետ հանդիպումը: Մենք համարում ենք, որ ներկայումս առավելագույնը, ինչ կարելի է անել, համախմբվել և «Բազելի» հետ կարևորագույն հանդիպումից առաջ «Փյունիկին» աջակցելն է: «Փյունիկ»-«Բազել» հանդիպման ավարտից հետո ՀՖՖ-ն հանդես կգա ավելի մանրամասն պարզաբանմամբ»:
Ավելի վաղ Եղիշե Մելիքյանն ասել էր. «Ես հարց ունեմ ֆեդերացիային. որտե՞ղ էիք անցած ամիսների ընթացքում, ինչո՞ւ «Փյունիկի» հետ չէիք, ոչ մի խաղին ներկա չեք գտնվել ու չեք աջակցել մեզ: Ես ցանկանում եմ լսել այս հարցի պատասխանը: Իմ միտքն այն էր, որ ֆեդերացիային չեն մտահոգում մեր ապագան ու արդյունքները: Եթե նրանք սրտացավ լինեին, մեր կողքին կլինեին, իսկ մենք դա չենք զգում: Առաջինը սպասում ենք պարզաբանման նրանցից: Պետք է հիշեցնեմ, որ ֆեդերացիայի նախագահին, փոխնախագահին ընտրել ենք մենք` ֆուտբոլային մարդիկ, և դա չենք արել, որպեսզի նրանք ինչ-որ մեկին համակրեն, մյուսին` ոչ, այլ, որպեսզի մտածեն հայկական ֆուտբոլի զարգացման մասին: Մենք նրանց չենք հրավիրում մեր խաղերին, այլ պարտադրում ենք ու պահանջում, որ լինեն հայկական ամեն ակումբի կողքին, որոնք պատմություն են կերտում ու պայքարում հանուն զարգացման և առաջընթացի: Եվ խոսքը միայն «Փյունիկի» մասին չէ: Օրինակ` «Սլովանի» հետ խաղից առաջ, մեր հանդերձարանում են եղել Սլովակիայում Հայաստանի հյուպատոսն ու Ավստրիայում մեր դեսպանը: Նրանք ընդամենը երկու խոսք ասացին, բայց մենք հասկացանք, որ եկել ենք երկիր, որտեղ Հայաստանը պետական մակարդակով ունի ներկայացուցիչներ ու նրանք եկել են մեզ աջակցելու: Մեզ համար դա շատ հաճելի էր: Մեզ պետք չէ սովորեցնել` ինչպես աշխատենք: Նախ իրենք պետք է սովորեն ճիշտ աշխատել»:
