Արցախի ժողովրդի իրավունքների պաշտպանության և անվտանգության խոստումներ տվող Ադրբեջանն արդեն 30 տարի է իր սպառնալիքներով փակ է պահում Ստեփանակերտի օդանավակայանը՝ զրկելով Արցախի ժողովրդին՝ ազատ տեղաշարժի իրավունքի իրացման այս կարևորագույն հնարավորությունից։

Այս մասին Ֆեյսբուքի իր էջում նշել է Արցախի Հանրապետության Մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպան Գեղամ Ստեփանյանը: «2012-ին, երբ վերանորոգումից հետո շահագործման է հանձնվել Ստեփանակերտի օդանավակայանը, Բաքվի իշխանություններն ուղիղ տեքստով հայտարարել են, որ ոչնչացնելու են դեպի Ստեփանակերտ թռչող քաղաքացիական օդանավերը։

Քաղաքացիական ենթակառուցվածքների թիրախավորման այն դեպքերը, որոնց ականատես եղանք 2020 թվականի պատերազմի ընթացքում, հստակ ցուցիչ էին այն բանի, որ ադրբեջանական ղեկավարությունը պատրաստ և ունակ է դիմելու ռազմական ցանկացած բնույթի հանցագործության, ընդհուպ նաև քաղաքացիական օդանավերի թիրախավորման։

Ստեփանակերտի օդանավակայանը կառուցվել է 1974 թվականին՝ Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի ժողովրդի՝ Հայաստանի հետ օդային հաղորդակցության հնարավորություն ստեղծելու բազմաթիվ պահանջներից հետո։ Գործում էր Ստեփանակերտ֊Երևան և Ստեփանակերտ-Բաքու և հակառակ ուղղությունները։ Այնուամենայնիվ, ի հեճուկս առկա պահանջարկի, Խորհրդային Ադրբեջանի իշխանությունները սահմանել էին խիստ սահմանափակ քանակի թռիչքներ դեպի Երևան։

Տարբեր աղբյուրներ վկայում են, որ արցախյան շարժման զուգահեռ Ադրբեջանը սկսել էր օդանավակայանը փակելու գործողություններ ձեռնարկել։ Դա արվում էր հարևան Իվանյան համայնքում լայնածավալ շինարարության միջոցով․ թռիչքուղու ուղիղ հարևանությամբ կառուցվում էին բնակելի տներ՝ խոչընդոտելու օդանավակայանի աշխատանքները և այն վերջնականապես դադարեցնելու համար։

Քաղաքացիական փոխադրումները Ստեփանակերտի օդանավակայանից դադարեցին իրականացվել 1992 թվականից՝ Ադրբեջանի կողմից Արցախի ժողովրդի դեմ սանձազերծած պատերազմի հետևանքով։

Աշխարհում ամեն օր մոտավոր 100 000 քաղաքացիական թռիչք է իրականացվում՝ մարդկանց տեղափոխելով մի վայրից մյուսը, սակայն, այդ թռիչքներից որևէ մեկը չի հասնում Ստեփանակերտ։

Արցախի ժողովրդի նկատմամբ վարվող խտրական ու ատելության քաղաքականությունն արտահայտվել և արտահայտվում է Ադրբեջանի կողմից ձեռնարկված ցանկացած գործողության մեջ։ Մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպանությամբ շահագրգիռ բոլոր կառույցներից և անհատներից ակնկալում ենք համարձակություն՝ տեսնելու, արձանագրելու և հակազդելու ադրբեջանական հանցավոր գործողություններին»,-ասված է գրառման մեջ։
