Հայ գործարարների ասոցիացիայի նախագահ Սամվել Կարապետյանի հայտարարությունը.

«Անհնար է անտեսել այն վտանգավոր ազդակներն ու միտումները, որոնք վերջին ամիսներին մեծ թափ են հավաքում Հայաստանում։ Այսօր տարբեր ուժեր բացահայտ կերպով Հայաստանին մղում են Ռուսաստանից հրաժարվելու  և պատմական ինքնաոչնչացման քայլին։ Կարևոր է հենց հիմա կանխել այնպիսի որոշումների ընդունումը, որոնք անխուսափելիորեն կարող են հանգեցնել ծանր հետևանքների ինչպես Արցախի, այնպես էլ Հայաստանի համար։ Այս առումով, ինչպես և նախկինում, կարծում եմ, որ Արցախի ապագայի անվտանգության և նրա բնակիչների խաղաղ կյանքի միակ երաշխիքը պատմական այս դժվարին ժամանակաշրջանում Ռուսաստանի միջնորդությունն է խաղաղության համաձայնագրի ստորագրման հարցում։ Հայաստանի իշխանությունները պետք է հավասարակշռված մոտեցում դրսևորեն, որը անվտանգության ամուր երաշխիքներ կտա և կկանխի Արցախի կորուստը։

Չի կարելի հաշվի չառնել նաև, որ Ռուսաստանի Դաշնությունն այսօր Հայաստանի ամենամեծ տնտեսական գործընկերն է, ռուս խաղաղապահներն Արցախի անվտանգության երաշխավորն են, մեր երկրներին միավորում են դարավոր գործընկերային, մշակութային և հոգևոր կապեր։ Այդ իսկ պատճառով այժմ, առավել քան երբևէ, կենսական նշանակություն ունի ճիշտ ընտրություն կատարել և պահպանել հայկական Արցախը աշխարհի համար»:
